Currently,the iron and steel enterprise is faced with severe situation,corporate profits fell sharply.How to realize the maximization of corporate profits,while ensure product quality,improve customer satisfaction,is the issue which entire steel industry to achieve sustainable development must face.To strengthen the total quality management in iron and steel enterprise is one of the important ways.To strengthen the total quality management can improve the quality of steel products and technical content,reduce the defective rate,increase efficiency,improve customer satisfaction.QG company belongs to the Shougang Group,which belongs to the middle level in the national iron and steel ranking.From the status of QG hot rolling quality control,there are still some coils which are not up to quality standard,leading to internal cut loss,even to clients.There is a gap between the company and other advanced enterprise,for example,baosteel.The hot rolling process needs to improve the internal quality management problems by using total quality management theory.This paper first elaborates the theory of total quality management,including the basic concept,the management principles,and the basic working methods.Then introduced the QG company's quality policy,quality objectives and quality management model.In QG's consistent system quality management mode,the rolling process as the production line belongs to executive layer,needs to seriously implement and ensure the functional department's series of standards.Based on relevant theories of total quality management,combined with the present situation of quality management of QG hot strip mill,analyses the quality management problems of QG hot rolling process of internal,and points out that there are 4 aspects of the quality management atmosphere is not strong,quality system is not complete and quality system implementation is not in place,quality improvement is slow,quality information system is non-existent.In view of the above questions put forward the improvement scheme and implementation of quality management,to create atmosphere,to strengthen the system management,to speed up the quality improvement,to accelerate the information system construction.The problems have been improved,and it has improved the quality of hot rolling process control capability.I hope to provide certain reference significance in terms of quality management to other iron and steel enterprises.
