| Since reform and opening up,China’s development of manufacturing industry played a pivotal role in rapid economic development and achievements,China has become one of the world’s manufacturing power.However,with the development of manufacturing,energy consumption increasing,the rapid development of manufacturing industry present situation has not been changed.At the same time,China’s manufacturing industry development unbalanced,uncoordinated and unsustainable problem increasingly prominent.In recent years,China’s manufacturing industry is under the influence of internal factors and external environmental pressure,how to alleviate energy consumption at the same time keeping continuous development has become a problem which the manufacturing industry have to face and solve.In China,the region manufacturing not only occupies an important position in the economy,is also the regional industrial economic growth driving force,but also the important subject of energy consumption.With the manufacturing industry as the research object,calculate the regional manufacturing total-factor of energy efficiency value,the result can help for the transformation of energy usage,explores the energy conserving potential under the regional manufacturing resource constraints,realize the stable development and the transformation and upgrading of manufacturing industry.It has important guiding significance..The measure of total-factor energy efficiency defined by considering the region capital,labor and other influencing factors,calculate the ratio of the optimum(at least)under a certain level of output energy usage and the actual energy usage,and the calculate results to reflect the energy consumption of the output.Scientific effectively measure China manufacturing total-factor energy efficiency,to explore different energy levels of different provinces manufacturing and key differences influence,can effectively promote the region continue to improve energy efficiency,achieve the goal of economy and environment harmonious sustainable.Based on the whole situation of regional manufacturing industry as a target for calculating the total factor of energy efficiency,use the shepherd input distance function method of stochastic frontier analysis,model function form is the logarithmic function but beyond the quadratic term.The body of the article mainly includes two parts,one is for measuring provincial manufacturing total-factor of energy efficiency,the other is to analyze the difference and influence factors.For most of the first article,first of all,measurement manufacturing total-factor energy efficiency for all regions based on the common frontier.And then divide all provinces into eastern,central and western regions,it is concluded that the results of the model based on region frontier areas.The characteristics of input distance function stochastic frontier model by shepherd-only change the energy input,can decomposition energy into three kinds of energy use efficiency in various areas,three kinds of energy for the energy varieties consumption into a merger of coal,oil and clean energy class.Because our country resources endowment,economic development level between the provinces differences with each other,for the calculation of energy efficiency is necessary to consider the environmental impact factors influence on the result.In this paper,the second part of the article measure regional manufacturing total-factor energy efficiency again and at the same time adding technology invalid influence factors model,to explore the influence of regional environmental factors impact on the efficiency value.In addition to consider macro factors such as provincial economic level,foreign investment,industrial structure,the energy prices,this article will share five energy-intensive industries in the manufacturing industry as a substitute for the influence factor of industrial structure,thus to analyze the structure of industry’s influence on the measuring results.The summary of specific research results is as follows:First,the 29 provinces’(except chongqing,Tibet)manufacturing total-factor of energy efficiency have significant difference,but the average level is low.From the perspective of regional,the east regional manufacturing total-factor of energy efficiency is higher than the Midwest,and higher than the national average,and the Midwest energy efficiency values are generally lower.In general,in recent years our country regional manufacturing total-factor of energy efficiency value is in the east-west gradually decreasing trend.Second,from the view of classification energy inputs to calculate,the regional manufacturing industry utilization efficiency for coal and coke is low in our country province,the use of clean alternative energy sources such as natural gas,electricity,have high efficiency,and the use efficiency of the eastern region was obviously higher than that of the western region.The energy efficiency of oil type is in the at higher level,and there are little differences between regions.Third,the level of regional economic development and foreign investment factor have a positive impact on the regional manufacturing total-factor energy efficiency,but the factor of foreign investment failed the test of significance.The energy prices,industrial structure factor had a negative effect.The ratio of Postal service,warehousing,transportation industry to GDP represented the industrial structure shows that the development of the third industry suppresses regional manufacturing energy utilization efficiency.Industry share factors shows that the more heavy industries share corresponding with the lower level of regional manufacturing total-factor energy efficiency.Fourth,the model of regardless the affecting of environment factors have highly correlate with inefficient model,they have the similar efficiency value ranking among regions.Manufacturing technology efficiency level does not change over time.From the perspective of the annual average efficiency level we can know,between 2000 and 2014,our country’s manufacturing total-factor energy efficiency level has the drop appeared at the start of a few years,but have a rising trend in recent years.It has the "U" type trend. |
