Research On The Index System Of Social And Economic Sustainable Development Competitiveness In Yunnan Province

Yunnan has been in a situation of unbalanced development,backward economy and weak economic competitiveness for years.Under the new development situation,Yunnan province and country put forward a new orientation for economic development in Yunnan province from different points.The purposes of it is to improve the development situation of it,and make it become a major economic province with more strong competitiveness and sustainable development.It has important significance for the evaluation and dynamic monitoring of the sustainable development trend of economic society in Yunnan Province and also has important referential significance for making strategies in Yunnan province to efficiently combine the requires of sustainable development in social economy with economic competitiveness and establish a set of index system of sustainable development in social economy which conforms to the actual situation of Yunnan and it's realistic strategic orientation.Sustainable Development Strategy Group of China Academy of Science has many years of research experience on the index system of sustainable development capability,and had put forward the evaluation index system in the ability of China sustainable development from the point of system.There are many new requirements on the social and economic competitiveness in Yunnan Province ‘13-th Five Year'planning,and the main index of economic and social development during the Yunnan Province ‘13-th Five Year'period given by it.Therefore,it can efficiently reflect the changes of the sustainable development of Yunnan Province social economy to establish the index system in the sustainable development of Yunnan Province social economy through these two important construction basis,construction principles and the actual situation of Yunnan province.According to this,the index system in the sustainable development competitiveness of Yunnan Province social economy includes 5 support systems and 19 states and 53 variables and 138 elements(primary indicators).The comprehensive evaluation analysis on the sustainable development competitiveness of Yunnan Province social economy during 2005 to 2014 is studied from three methods: linear weighted comprehensive evaluation and principal component analysis and AHP weighting global principal component analysis.According to the results of the three evaluation methods and visual comparison,the following conclusions are drawn:(1)The result given by the three methods shows the sustainable development competitiveness of Yunnan Province social economy is increased year by year during 2005 to 2014.(2)The survival,development,environment,society and intelligence,five support systems overall showed an upward trend.And,the score of the environmental support system is the lowest in the five support system.(3)Study on the index system in the sustainable development competitiveness of Yunnan Province social economy can efficiently reflect the dynamic changes of sustainable development competitiveness of Yunnan province social economy during 2005 to 2014.(4)Study on the index system in the sustainable development competitiveness of Yunnan Province social economy not only can provide scientific basis for formulating related issues on government's decision-making,but also can offer some mature development model and experience for other regions that is going to construct or has constructed the index system in the competitiveness of social economy.
