The Influence On Interlocking Directorates Network On Exploratory Innovation And Exploitative Innovation

Innovation is the driving force of sustainable development of enterprises.Enterprise innovation can be divided into two types:exploratory innovation and developmental innovation according to the initiative of organizational strategy.Chain director refers to a person at the same time in two or more of the two companies or concurrent directors or executives,the content of academic research mainly originated in the last century,its theoretical basis are:resource dependence theory,reciprocity theory,management and control theory TheThis research is based on the increasing popularity of chain directors and the gradual importance of innovation.In an increasingly competitive environment,innovation is not just a means to help enterprises to further develop,sometimes related to the survival of an enterprise.Enhancing innovation ability is an important measure for enterprises to deal with competition and gain competitive advantage,and the channels of enterprise innovation resources play an important role in the selection process of enterprise innovation behavior.The establishment of chain directors has expanded the channels for enterprises to obtain resources.The research focus of this paper is to combine the chain directors and the enterprise innovation,and use the social network analysis method to study the influence of thechain of directors on the innovation of the enterprise.The second chapter summarizes the related theories and research status of chain directors,chain directors' networks and innovation,binary innovation and so on.The third chapter is the design of the empirical research model and the processing part of the data.This part is mainly put forward by the conceptual model and six research hypotheses for the research of the chain of directors and exploratory innovation and development innovation.And the independent variables,dependent variables and control variables used in this study are described.The independent variables used in this study are:direct connection of directors,indirect connection of directors,intermediate center degree,close to center degree;dependent variable is development innovation,exploratory innovation.In order to control the scale of enterprises,the impact of R&D investment on innovation,the six control variables of total operating income,total assets,total owner's equity,the number of researchers,the total number of employees,the master's and above.The fourth part summarizes the present situation of China's chain directors and the patent innovation of listed companies.Through the statistical results of the obtained data,the status quo of the chain directors in China is described,and the social network analysis method is used to construct the chain of listed directors of the domestic listed enterprises and explore its network characteristics.According to the category of the chain of directors,the chain of directors is divided into the network of directors and executives,and the network of the executives is analyzed.The statistical analysis of the patented data is carried out,and the patent innovation of listed companies is summarized.The method of enterprise development innovation and exploration of innovation,and its statistical analysis.In the fifth part,according to the research hypothesis,the social network analysis method and the correlation analysis method are used to verify the research hypothesis proposed in Chapter 3.In the study of the impact of chain directors on the dual innovation of enterprises,the author uses the listed company's chain directors data and the enterprise patent data as the sample,and uses the relevant analysis and the negative effect of the negative analysis method to explore its impact on the binary innovation Add the control variables to test the relevant analysis results.Finally,according to the empirical results,the main conclusions of this paper are summarized as follows:(1)The chain directors have already paid enough attention to the enterprises in our country.As of 2015,2814 listed companies,there are 2665 enterprises with chain directors,accounting for up to 94.7%;(2)development-oriented innovation is better than exploratory innovation;(3)enterprise chain directors directly connected more More,the more able to promote the development of innovative output.Enterprises in the foreign cooperation,the establishment of chain directors,as much as possible to select more partners is very important,and not limited to only with large enterprises or open to the higher degree of cooperation of enterprises.
