As China's comprehensive financial, international, market-oriented further development and the growing trend of financial disintermediation, the bank investment business by providing comprehensive financing arrangements, consultants, asset services is becoming the focal point of commercial banks. Bank investment banking business in addition to credit risk, capital occupancy and other aspects have an advantage, but also enable banks to obtain a higher comprehensive income. Therefore, in the current situation, the various commercial banks will rapidly develop investment banking business on a very important position. Investment banking business can not only make the bank to change the traditional bank profit model purpose, but also the traditional commercial banking industry to change the business development model of opportunity.In the current context, in order to meet the increasingly diversified financing needs of corporate customers, the bank investment banking business mainly through the issuance of short-term financing securities, medium-term notes and other direct financing instruments for corporate debt financing; and IPO, refinancing and other structured financing products for enterprises to asset securitization financing.Based on the PEST, SWOT and Bibliometric Analysis method, analysing the macro environment and Its internal and external development of Bank of Communications Inner Mongolia Branch, which derived the opportunities and threats, advantages and disadvantages of Bank of Communications Inner Mongolia Branch in developing investment banking. This paper puts forward the author's point of view on the competitive strategy of investment banking business of Bank of Communications Inner Mongolia Branch.
