Over the past 30 years and more since reform and opening-up,China has made remarkable achievements in its wood processing industry development.Although wood processing industry starts late in China,but they develop rapidly.At present,China has become the first Wood-Processed Products consumption nation and the great timber processing nation in the world.The Wood Processing Industry is a traditional pillar industry of the Forestry Industry in China.People from all circles had found common ground of what small and medium sized enterprises' number account for about ninety percent in Chinese wood processing industry.The small and medium-sized timber processing enterprises paly a very important role in the forestry industry development,poverty alleviation and upgrading of timber processing industrial's structure.But in the recent years,as the economy slows and the transformation from the old economic development model to the new one,many problems arose in the management and running of the small and medium-sized timber processing enterprises.Especially,the small and medium-sized timber processing enterprises in Yunnan are facing with great problem,stress and challenge in their development.Though,the forestry resources are rich in Yunnan Province.These companies choosing which way to develop and how to use strategic manage methods,in order to reinforce the competitive power.This paper mainly does the research of the XN wood conversion factory in Kunming city.Set in the development of wood processing industry in Kunming city.This paper combined with the current problems of XN wood conversion factory,as the economy of China enters a "new normal",and finally found out the management problem of XN wood conversion factory.This article proceeds from SME's strategic management angle.This process includes kinds of strategic analysis models such as product life cycle,external environment PEST analysis,Porter Competition Model,the SWOT model,Value-chain analysis and so on theories.The problems exposed areanalyzed also.In short,the conclusion that the result of this paper is what the proposal of the strategy choice of XN wood processing industries is put forward.The thesis is divided into six chapters: Chapter 1 Introduction.Chapter 2 Literatures Review.Review the research on the SME Strategy,especially on the wood processing industry management.The third chapter mainly mentions some problems in XN wood conversion factory management.Chapter Four and Chapter Five are the body part of the thesis.Chapter Four is mainly about strategic management analysis of XN wood conversion factory.Chapter 5 of the strategic model for selection and feasibility analysis,strategic decision-making results obtained,the paper part of the core.The sixth chapter summarizes to the full text,proposes the research conclusion.
