Research On Procurement Management Of The Multinational Company

In order to ensure the smooth progress of the exploration,production,and trade of the oil and gas resources,multinational companies often have to procure a large quantity of the equipment and the materials while developing their international market.Correspondingly,they also need to procure the service contracts from the third-party professional service providers.Along with the rapid development of the economic globalization and the regional economic integration,multinational energy companies have a competitive advantage in the international business,and this advantage has changed gradually from the previous product competition,the technical competition and the talent competition to the competition in modern management transformation and upgrading,and has played its strategic role in enhancing the core competitiveness of multinational energy companies especially based on purchasing management and competitive advantages.Therefore,for the multinational energy companies,how to properly handle the procurement management and give full play to the leverage of purchasing management to provide the quality assurance and financial security for the exploration,development,refining and trade of the oil and gas resources,this has very important strategic significance.In this paper,the Strategic Purchasing Management,Energy Economics,Industrial Economics,and Mathematical Statistics and other related knowledge will be comprehensively adopted;the paper will focus on the procurement management in the multinational energy companies;it will adhere to use the theoretical analysis and empirical research,the logic of analysis and quantitative analysis,problem analysis and strategy design,and take the procurement of Saudi Aramco Far East Company as an example to explore the scientific optimization strategies of the current procurement management for the multinational energy companies and provide helpful procurement management practices and experience for the multination operations of large-scale energy companies(Groups)in China.Compared with the other similar research,this paper is theoretically innovative and provides practice guidelines.The research in this paper will be conducive to the innovation of procurement management study mode and will be helpful for Aramco Far East Company to improve their procurement management system.Meanwhile,itwill contribute to establish our national energy security mechanism with the carrier of the large-scale energy companies(Groups),and provide energy security for the healthy and continuous development of the national economics and society in our country.
