Research On L/C Electronic Presentation

With the development of electronic information technology,electronic presentation l/c has become a new type of presentation in recent years.With attractive competitive edges,electronic presentation become more acceptable within international settlement.But the current electronic presentation business related laws and regulations are still under development,only BOLERO system made clear in its platform processing of electronic presentation business follow the eUCP international practice,and practice is not comprehensive promotion,there are still many problems have not been fully exposed.This paper goes through the BOLERO electronic bill of lading and its pledge,then the suggestion of how to deal with the electronic bill of lading related business for commercial banks are proposed.This paper also studies the eUCP international practice,under detailed analysis of the practice and contrast to the UCP international practice,and also summarized problems and counter-measures when dealing with the electronic presentation business for commercial Banks.Finally,this paper discusses how to promote electronic presentation business for commercial banks.This paper summarizes the problems and risks in promotion and handling with electronic presentation business,and gives reasonable suggestions to commercial banks for preparation on the booming electronic presentation business.
