Relationship Between Logistics And Economy Based On Establishment Of Shanghai Free Trade Zone

This paper studies the relationship between logistics and economic growth in the background of establishment of Shanghai Free Trade Zone.By using the methods of quantitative and qualitative methods,it puts forward some suggestions in the end.Firstly,this paper introduces conditions of both economy and Logistics in Shanghai.And lots of line charts are used to analyze the characteristics of four modes of transportation according to the Shanghai statistics bureau,they are railway,highway,waterways and airlift.Secondly,gray sequence analysis has been used to measure which transport is the most relevant to Shanghai economy.Finally,a multiple linear regression model is established according to the data from January 2012 to January 2016.The study finds that economic of Shanghai works well,and the Cargo transport volume declines slightly with a fluctuation.In the long run,railway traffic volume is decreasing most obvious,while others are increasing slowly.Air and water transportation is the most relevant to Shanghai economy.Among three industries,the secondary industries is the closest to logistics in Shanghai.And airlift and water shipment influences the import and export trade significantly.In the end,this article analyzed how does logistics and economy influence each other,and how Shanghai Free Trade Zone influence hinterlands economy development.Overall,some suggestion has been put forward,such as Shanghai should construct its railway more quickly and reduce the proportion of highway transportation.
