It is the realistic choice faced by commercial banks at all levels that how to g rasp the future development trend of the banking industry,formulate relative develo pment strategies and adapt to the fierce competitive market environment under the background of slowdown in economic growth and speeding up of financial reform i n China.The small and medium-sized enterprises in our country have developed ra pidly since the reform and opening up.They have played an irreplaceable role in e xpanding employment,vitalizing market,increasing income,stabilizing the society,a djusting product structure and so on.However,SMEs are encountering enormous difficulties and challenges with the transformation of economic growth mode in our country,the transfer of high grow th to the high quality of growth mode.Financing difficulty is the most prominent c hallenge for the healthy development of small and medium-sized enterprises of our country.Therefore,commercial banks should lose no time to seize strategic opportu nity,make layout fresh for the strategy,give play to the advantage of resources an d develop the SMEs credit market in the homogenization of competition and financ ing dilemma of small and medium-sized enterprise.In this way,the banks can not only effectively solve financing problem of small and medium-sized enterprise,also bring their own new profitable growth.With the great changes in the financial industry as a whole pattern and aggrav ation of the competition in the banking industry,the adjustment of internal business structure of Bank of China Inner Mongolia Branch is imperative.It should be visi oned on the strategic level for expanding the SMEs' credit business space,making a feasible credit business competition strategy,guiding the future development direct ion of the bank with a new competition strategy,fostering new competitive advanta ge and repositioning credit business development of small and medium-sized enterpr ise.This thesis mainly researches the small and medium-sized enterprise credit busi ness competitive strategy of Bank of China,Inner Mongolia Branch,based on econ omic and social environment and small and medium-sized enterprise development at present in our country.The study includes development dilemma,barriers,opportu nities of development and growth of small and medium-sized enterprises.It also deals with the internal and external environment condition,the defects of traditional i nternal operation mechanism and space opportunities to expand business.In this paper,the strategic management theory and theory of competitive strate gy is as the theoretical basis of the study.It is based on the PEST model to analy ze the economic,political,social and technological environments of SMEs' credit b usiness for Bank of China,Inner Mongolia branch.The paper analyzes the industry environment and the strength,weakness,opportunity,threat with Potter five strengt h model and SWOT model.On the above basis,the choice and implementation of competitive strategy have been put forward for the SMEs' credit business of Bank of China Inner Mongolia branch and finally implement security measures.This pape r mainly studies SMEs credit business competitive strategy of regional commercial banks.It will definitely play a great role for sustainable development for western commercial banks and meeting the financing needs for SMEs in theoretical and pra ctical enlightenments.
