Research On The Cost-benefit Analysis Of Tea Plantation Management In Jurong

Tea industry,a significant traditional superior industry in our country,is not only the vital way to increase employment of rural workforce and their income,but plays an important role in optimizing agricultural industry structure,promoting the sustainable development of agricultural and rural economy.Although our country's tea garden acreage and production top the world,the market share is not large enough to be the powerful country of tea.On account of the slim income of tea plantation--the main body of tea production macrocosmic management,farmland-returning and cultivation-changing appeared in some tea production areas.These phenomena arose because our country's economic increasing speed is declining gradually.What's more,in the process of tea marketing,the conflict between small production and large market is becoming prominent,resulting in the insufficient income and motivation of basic tea production level.And all of these influence the further development of tea industry.At present,there are various management forms of tea plantations in different areas of our country,such as family-run tea plantation,enterprise-oriented tea plantation,cooperative-oriented or tea-association-oriented tea plantation and so on.Due to the different business models of tea plantation,there will be differences in the production materials costs and labor costs,and the differences between these inputs will directly result differences in terms of earnings of tea producers adding different production organizations.Under the background,based on the investigation of tea plantation business in Jurong,this paper has a cost-benefit analysis of currently three tea plantation operating models(independently operated tea plantation,enterprise-oriented tea plantation,cooperative-oriented tea plantation).It is aimed at learning the cost-benefit distinctions and the influential elements under various business models,exploring a more reasonable and effective business model in order to reduce production costs and business risks,to provide useful ideas for effectively guiding the grass-roots farmers to choose the business model.By analyzing the operating costs and benefits of tea plantation under different business models,this paper has got the conclusions:the independently operated tea plantation invests more but revenue per mu is lowest,but per mu is highest in tea plantation where manage by cooperation.Finally,we throw out suggestions with a typical case analysis,we can promote the development of local tea industry and tea farmers richness by strengthening the understanding of improving the degree of organization,improving benefits distribution mechanism between tea plantation and company and further developing and strengthening the tea cooperative organizations.
