Using the land level input-output data collected from 192 households in 8 countries of Fujian, Zhejiang and Jiangxi, this paper compared and analyzed input-output status and carbon sequestration capacity of moso bamboo plantation in different places; then the input-output production function for mature moso bamboo plantation which is used to reflect the quantitative relation between different inputs and different outputs were estimated; and the last we discussed the sensitivity of the economic benefit to discounted rate and different prices of input-output by building the management benefit evaluation model of forest land which carbon sequestration benefits are taken into consideration. The results show that:(1)There are significant difference on the degree of intensive management and input-output level of moso bamboo plantation in three province, and among them Fujian and Zhejiang is significantly higher than that in Jiangxi. This is probable associated with more developed bamboo industry in Zhejiang and Fujian, and their farmers may pay more attention on the management of moso bamboo plantation.(2)If we not consider carbon emissions rusting from the application of fertilizer, carbon sequestration capacity per unit area of moso bamboo plantation in different places from high to low are Fujian, Jiangxi and Zhejiang; In contrast, if we consider, they are Jiangxi, Fujian and Zhejiang. However, the influences of regional difference on carbon sequestration capacity of moso bamboo forest are quietly limited, so as to whether consider carbon emissions because of fertilizer or not.(3)both annual labor input and site condition all have a significant positive influence on the output. With the annual labor input increased 1%, the bamboo shoot production, the bamboo stem production and the total production will be respectively increase 2.938%、0.424% and 0.696%;the three production in good land is more higher than that in Poor land, 766%、31.9% and 50.5% respectively; these production in average land is higher than that in Poor land, too, 200%、24.4% and 27.2% respectively.(4) fertilizer inputs variable have a appreciable positive effect on bamboo shoot production and further total production, but not bamboo stem production; this mainly because bamboo stem production depends on standing bamboo quantity, while the latter rely on digged bamboo shoots behavior.(5)Management benefits of moso bamboo forest in different place has the substantial difference under the current market-technology conditions. Specifically, the annual net income after the bamboo forest of Fujian, Zhejiang and Jiangxi province is 6,000 yuan/hm2, 6,200 yuan/hm2 and5,900yuan/hm2 respectively; the NPV of moso bamboo plantation, Jiangxi is highest, 554,000 Yuan/ hm2, followed by Fujian province, 554,000 Yuan/ hm2 and Zhejiang province, 390,000 Yuan/ hm2. The reason why the rank in different provinces between annual net income and the NPV is different is that the cumulative costs of Zhejiang in the stage of afforestation and initial tending are highest.(6)NPV in 60 years Operating cycle of moso bamboo plantation is extremely sensitive to the discount rate and the price of bamboo stem, carbon and labor. However, the influence degree and direction of these factors on the NPV is significant different;at the same time, the effect degree of one factor on the NPV in three provinces have also visible different. This is mainly because there exists significant difference between input-output level and input-output structure of the moso bamboo plantation during the management periods in 60 years.Based on the above research conclusion, this study suggests:(1)The development of bamboo processing industry has important influence on the positive and intensive of moso bamboo plantation management. Therefore, from the perspective of both promoting the development of bamboo industry and increasing farmers employment and income, the government should actively cultivate and support the development of bamboo processing industry in the future, to promote the positive of moso bamboo plantation cultivation and management.(2)Because input intensity and prices, especially the level of labor input has a decisive influence on output level and management benefit of moso bamboo plantation, different technology management types of moso bamboo should be promoted and demonstrated according to the labor endowment and labor price in different places, so as to improve the input-output efficiency of moso bamboo plantation.(3)With the trend of global climate change becoming increasingly apparent, moso bamboo forest management play a more important role in increasing forest carbon sequestration. Therefore, the government needs to quickly establish and improve carbon sinks subsidies mechanism. By this way can the farmers be given a clear positive motivation, the bamboo forest carbon sinks will be increased in the future and sustained management of moso bamboo forest will be realized.
