Research On The Technological Progress Of Strategic Emerging Industries In Fujian Province And Its Contribution To Economic Growth

In order to foster new economic growth points and take advantage of new trends of globally industrial technology revolution,strategic emerging industries have become the first choice of economic transformation and upgrading as well as steady economic growth.Since 2009,the Central government and Fujian Province have put forward a number of planning policies to accelerate the development of strategic emerging industries,strategic emerging industries of Fujian Province has owned a good opportunity,which has become the important industries to promote the economic development of Fujian Province at present.The ever-changing science and technology,to a large extent,influence the development of the process of strategic emerging industries in Fujian Province.Therefore,understanding the status of the development of strategic emerging industries in Fujian Province,and researching the technological progress situation of strategic emerging industry,as well as its significance for the contribution of economic growth,in order to take targeted measures to promote the healthy development of strategic emerging industries in Fujian Province,is of great theoretical and practical significance.This paper aims to study the technological progress of strategic emerging industries in Fujian Province,the contribution of technological progress on economic growth and the impact of technological progress,to evaluate the status of the technological progress of emerging industries,to calculate the contribution of technological progress to economic growth and explore the impact factors of technological progress,and to put forward the corresponding countermeasures by choosing appropriate indicators,constructing the corresponding models,as well as using correlated sample data and lots of data analysis tools such as DEAP2.1,Matlab,Eviews and so on.First of all,this paper,starting from the background and significance of research,analyzes and summarizes the strategic emerging industries at home and abroad,and the corresponding research result of technological progress and economical growth,and proposes the research ideas and main content accordingly.Secondly,we introduce the relevant theories of strategic emerging industries,technological progress and economic growth,as well as the correlated models and methods in the paper.And then,we analyze the development of strategic emerging industries in Fujian Province,and select the industrial technology evaluation indicators.Based on sample selection and data processing,we use DEA-Malmquist index method to evaluate the technology progress situation of strategic emerging industries in Fujian Province and various sub-industries.Next,we construct a contribution model of technological progress of strategic emerging industries to economic growth,and measure the contribution degree which technological progress of strategic emerging industries and various sub-sectors have made to the economic growth.Finally,after determining the contribution degree of technological progress to economic growth,the main factors behind the technological progress were analyzed deeply by using the panel data model.Accordingly,we propose a corresponding countermeasure to promote technological progress of strategic emerging industries in Fujian Province,providing references for the development of strategic emerging industries in Fujian Province.
