The extensive use of e-commerce greatly facilitates people’s lives,and payment as a key link in e-commerce transactions promotes the development of e-commerce.Based on the rise of the Internet,e-commerce payment methods continue to create new payment model,while it is also quietly changing the habits of people’s lives.From two directions of trading technology and credit,this paper firstly expounds the origin and development of payment before and after the appearance of currency,and then discusses the advantages and disadvantages of different payment methods such as cash on delivery,online bank payment,third party payment and mobile payment in e-commerce,highlighting the application of third-party payment in restaurants,supermarkets,travel and other areas,meanwhile,pointing out its deficiencies in credit,legal policy and financial security.After that,this paper analyzes the relationship between payment and transaction from a logical point of view,and points out that the relationship between payment and transaction evolves from the original indivisibility to the separation of the two,while the new payment method begins to break the boundaries of the original space-time,and explains time-space characteristics of the payment method and its evolution process by using time-space compression,presence availability and time-cost curves,then the paper points out that the essence of e-commerce payment rises is the establishment of credit by asymmetric information,by discussing the innovation of the payment promoting the evolution of the form of credit to draw the conclusion that the credit scale is expanding and points out the development trend of credit,and then focuses on the formation of third-party payment industry from the perspective of bilateral market characteristics.At last,taking the popular WeChat payment as an example,it analyzes its timeliness firstly,and then expounds its spatial connectivity base on its social attributes,and gives some suggestions on its existing problems.
