Process Optimization And Improvement In Engineering Drawings Design Department

Under the circumstances of economic globalization,the elevator companies will directly face fierce competition from domestic and abroad.In this case,there would be a series of internal and external pressure for enterprise to improve product quality,shorten response time and reduce costs for better development.Facing the competition,how should various departments in company adjust for improvement,to become a booster for the development? Overall,this paper is to introduce the enterprise culture and improvement concept of OTIS Elevator Company through the process improvement of elevator layout department.Based on lean production,business process improvement theory related as the foundation,the research is to analysis the relevant issues in OTIS elevator layout department by collecting management information and data with ACE tool.Firstly to recognize the issues in business process and the priority key process need improved,then define the key points and improvement direction.With ACE tool,OTIS improved the process and layout quality by using VSM and QCPC,so as to combine business process system,enterprise strategy and development direction together,to establish a high-efficiency business process through process improvement,resource allocation optimizing and efficiency improvement.In this way,we could achieve our final purpose of enhancing the customer satisfaction and enterprise core competition.Thesis research results not only provide enterprises with the operational overall monitoring and evaluation method based on process improvement,but also the statistical ideas and methods effectively introduced into management,formed the unique layout drawing quality management for enterprise process improvement method and concept as guidance and help in the process of enterprise management in the project drawings.
