With the continuous development of world automobile industry and theincreasing cosume demanding of people,the automobile industry is faced withmore severe challenges,consumers put forward higher requirements not only onthe price but also on the quality of product.A new topic appear among theautomobile company: how to deal with the relationship among costreducing,quality ensuring and profit growth achieving.Now,Japan Toyota’s leanproduction concept is introduced by SAIC and to solve this new topic.Inrecently years,many core auto-parts companies have finished some lean project asa pilot and promotion.As SAIC’s wholly-owned subsidiary,China Spring ManfacturingCo.Ltd iscurrently facing the problem:the rising cost of materials,the increasing cost ofhumanand the decreasing of the profit space.As a result,the whole enterprisecompetitiveness have affected to certain extent, at this crucial moment,companyexecutivesdetermined that CSC will start the lean project with the help ofHUAYU Automotive Systems Company in order to achieve the purpose ofreducing cost and improving efficiency.This paper mainly studies the lean project implemention of stable barproduction in assemble workshop of stable bar factory in CSC.From point toface,theory combines with pracitse.Using the method of establishing model andusing lean tools to find the main problem in the production management such asthe lay-out of production line balancing problem,the production processproblem,using the the theory and method of lean to the existing productionmanagement system such as unreasonable production equipmentlayout,WIPinventory,a lot of manual assembly operations thatemployees handspeed determines the production rhythm problems.This paper interprets that CSC use lean tools and lean concept,making thecompany a qualitative improvement in the optimization of index of humancost,WIP,unit production and other hard index.Each employee is imbued with thephilosopy of lean,so that the CSC staff’s quality are improved, the cohesion ofenterprise are increasing.Also lay a good foundation for what enterprise continue to start the second phase project.
