Study On The Influence Of Industrial Cluster's Social Capital On Innovation Performance

Along with the economic globalization and increasingly fierce market competition,as a special form of organization,industrial cluster are playing an increasingly important role both in improving regional competitiveness and country competitiveness.And its competitive advantage begins to be transformed into innovation from the traditional simple resource aggregation.But for now,the industrial clusters of our country start relatively late,and its innovation ability is relatively low.Therefore,in the face of the competition pressure from the international excellent industrial cluster,the innovation performance's promotion of our country's industrial cluster is imperative.Industrial cluster not only has a geographical proximity,but also has a strong relevance.The communication and cooperation between various organizations is relative frequent,which helps the companies accumulate a large number of social capital.Any enterprise may not have all the knowledge and resources of its industry.Through this kind of social network,the enterprise can be convenient to get external innovation resources,share facilities,learn lessons and experiences,etc.,and make up for the inadequacy of their own resources,stimulate innovation inspiration,which will greatly improve the enterprise's innovation performance.But in different life cycle stage,he industrial cluster's size,development level,organization structure,supporting facilities,and the focus of enterprise can have very big distinction,This will affect the communication's frequency of subjects naturally,which will has different impact on various dimensions of social capital,and this affect its relationship with innovation performance.Based on the industrial cluster life cycle perspective,through studying the literature,the author forms her own theoretical basis,and divides the cluster social capital into vertical?horizontal and sideling social capita,and puts forward ten assumptions of social capital and innovation performance.The study chooses Hebei province as investigation object.First of all,the author makes some analyses through SPSS software including descriptive analysis of data and the reliability and validity analysis of the questionnaire.The results indicate that the sample has high representative and the questionnaire has good reliability and validity.So the sample data can be used for subsequent further analysis.Then the author establishes 12 models by stages,and does hierarchical regression analyses.The empirical results show:in the formative years,only vertical social capital is significantly positively related to innovation performance;in the growth period,all the vertical social capital?horizontal social capita and the sideling social capita are significantly positively related to innovation performance and the correlation is the most obvious;in the mature stage,vertical and sideling social capita are still significantly positively related to innovation performance,but the correlation weakens,and horizontal social capital and innovation performance shows innovation performance shows negative correlation.Finally,on the basis of this conclusion,the author puts forward reasonable suggestions,and hopes to provide reference for our country to improve the industrial cluster's innovation performance.
