With the shift of world luxury trade center,an increasing number of luxury brands have spread all over the world.Luxury goods growth and building brands is becoming more and more important to the global consumption market in the 21st century.Nowadays,Asia,especially in East Asia,has already become emerging markets in luxury consumption area.In this situation,China has become the first luxury consumption country,brand building crisis and market potential opportunity have become two major attributes.This thesis highlights spatial character of luxury consumer cities at Global,Asia and China levels.It consists of five parts:The first part is an introduction mainly introducing the research problems and significance.Then,research methods and technique line were emphasized.Furthermore,this chapter summarizes the innovations and shortage of the research.Besides,it develops a conceptual framework and correlation study for the case study.The definitions of relevant concepts and introduce the materials' source.We make clear the related concepts,defines the concept of investigative object,make important explaination to the materials' source.The second part was the related theories and literature review.This paper backdates luxury goods and the theory of urban network,world cities and the theory of world urban network.Furthermore,here reviewed were luxury consumption and urban network.The third part is the characteristics of global luxury consumption cities.Firstly,this paper analyzes development path of international luxury and brand headquarters.Secondly,this paper focus on the spatial characteristics of global luxury consumption cities.The fourth part is the characteristics of Asia luxury consumption cities development.Based on the analysis of Asia urban spatial network.Through analysing Asia urban spatial network,the paper discusses the current situation of China's luxury goods market.The fifth part is conclusions and prospects for the study.The author will summarized and concluded the main points of this paper,and make it to be regulations.Meanwhile,carry on the forecast to future research about luxury consumption cities.
