In the 1990s,the economic globalization and regional integration was in full swing and profoundly influenced the global geo-economic pattern. As a matter of fact, the geopolitical logic of competition was replaced by the cooperating geo-economic logic. As a rising country,China inevitably has a great influence on the geo-economic pattern of East Asia and the world. So it is of great necessity to get to know China's position in the geo-economic era, which can be conducive to the geo-economic strategy making.Trade and investment are the most important indicators of national geo-economic linkages and East Asia is the most significant area to China which is deeply related to China's Rise.Under this consideration, this paper uses complex network method to analyze trade and FDI data between East Asian countries and regions, which helps us to know how China reconstructs the East Asia geo-economic pattern. The conclusions are as follows:(1)With the long-term stable and high-speed growth of trade,China's position in network degree centrality and strength centrality ranking and China's position in core-periphery structure has raised up,which helped China to take place of Japan which has dominated the East Asian trade pattern for more than twenty years. The United States has an impact on the trade pattern of East Asian, but did not change the core position of China;(2)Further empirical analysis shows that the scale of East Asian trade under China 's guidance has surpassed the scale under guidance of Japan in the 1980s.China's export has a positive effect on the export of East Asian economies;(3)After reform and opening,China soon become the core of FDI inflow by its huge market, but the development of FDI outflow has lagged behind the FDI inflow and has been at a low level for a long time.In the 21st century, with the huge investment in Hong Kong China soon become the core of FDI outflow, but China's FDI outflow in other economic entities is still in low level. This situation has changed since 2012 and with the implementation of the Belt and the Road strategy China's FDI outflow has a trend to increase sharply;(4)Although China's FDI outflow in other East Asian economic entities is increasing sharply in recent years,China's FDI outflow stock is still far behind Japan and Singapore because China's foreign investment had been at a low level for a long time in the 20th century. Finally, this paper summarizes China 's impact on the geo-economic pattern of East Asia, and puts forward relevant suggestions on the future geo-economic strategy making.
