The Study On “The Belt And Road” Initiative Of China:From The Perspective Of International Public Goods

The international situation changes quickly at the present-day world.Economic Globalization and Regional Integration are deepening constantly,and the influence of the global financial crisis is emerging gradually.The recovery of the world economy is still weak.Global threats such as Environmental Problem and Terrorism are more and more serious.Meanwhile,the global public goods are short of supplying quantity,and the supplying structure is unbalanced,which cannot be solved for a long time.In the face of the severe situation,how to provide international public goods effectively is a problem which we must solve it.As the largest developing country and the world second-largest economy,China should become a responsible country and undertakes the duty and obligation that China ought to solve the problem,and to increase the supply of international public goods properly.The article analyses the main theories of the international public goods supplying.Combining the disadvantages of these theories with the fact of the international public goods supplying,the article comes up with an idea that not only western countries can provide the international public goods,but non-western countries can also provide international public goods via their own efforts.As an regional power,China commits himself to the supply of the international public goods and raise “The Belt and Road” Initiative.At the same time,the article also analyses the attribute and the supplying characteristics of “The Belt and Road” from the point of public goods,and states its principles and the directions about cooperation.It also introduces that China will set up cooperative relationships with countries in Asia,Europe and Africa along the line of “The Belt and Road” and how they build the mechanism and platform which should reinforce the function of the governments and the civilian power.Meanwhile,with the current situation of the world,“The Belt and Road” not only has many opportunities,but also it has a lot of challenges.We should make full use of the experience which China has joined the supply of international public goods,and we should also grasp the opportunities and cope with the challenges reasonably,which will ensure the initiative run smoothly.If so,China will make his own contribution to the international public goods supplying and promote world peace and development.
