One Belt One Road is a trade initiative of Silk Road Economic Belt and 21 st Maritime Silk Road proposed by Chinese President,Xi Jinping which get the support from many countries.As Thailand is located at the center of South East Asia,and plays an important role in China's Belt and Road initiative.Thailand has joined One Belt One Road and has built the high-speed railway which covered China,Laos,Thailand,Malaysia and Singapore.Moreover,another railway will be constructed to the important port and airport of Thailand,and will be connected to One Belt One Road's pier,therefore Thai-Chinese economic and trade will be more corporate in the future.Under this background,studying the current situation,problems and influencing factors of ThaiChinese goods trade under the "Belt and Road" initiative has the significant role for further promoting the interconnection of economic and trade between the two countries,and plays an important role in the development of Thailand's economy and industrialization.First,this paper analyzes the background,purpose and significance,research methods,and innovations of the article,summarizes the basic theories of international trade related to this article,and reviews the relevant literature.Second,this paper analyzes the current situation and existing issue of the development of goods trade between Thailand and China.From the situation of Thai-Chinese goods trade,the trade has been increased continuously,and China has become the first trading partner of Thailand.From the main products and trade structure of import and export trade,the main product of two countries is industrial products that capital goods is accounted for a large proportion.By using RCA and TCI index,Thai-Chinese trade is both competitive and complementary.This article concludes that the trade between Thailand and China,SITC2 and SITC5 is obviously competitive;SITC2,SITC6,SITC7 and STIC8 have the certain level of complementary.Moreover,SITC0,SITC1,SITC4 and SITC5 have the deep level of intraindustry trade.Third,this paper analyzes the influencing factors of the development of Thai-Chinese goods trade from politics,economy,society and culture,technology and environment.This chapter has chosen the related factors and the number from 2003-2017,and doing the empirical analysis of influencing factors of Thai-Chinese goods trade by using trade gravity model.This paper realized that Thailand's GDP,Trade Complementary index,Thailand-China's verticalspecialization degree,Thailand-China's foreign direct investment,global peace index of both countries,China's human development index,both countries' high-education have significant effect to encourage Thailand-China trade.On the other hands,both countries economic distance,tariff rate,China's GDP and Thailand's human development index have a certain inhibitory effect on Thai-Chinese trade.Moreover,The closer level of economic development between the two countries,the deeper level of trade between the two countries.Last,this paper has mentioned the recommendation on the further development of ThaiChinese goods trade,assumes that improvement of basis infrastructure,encouraging the complementary products,support and strengthen Thai-Chinese trade policies,training human resources and improving technical cooperation,and attracting foreign capital and investment can develop the trade cooperation of two countries.
