Research On China's Trade Effects Under The RCEP Framework

Regional economic integration and global economic integration is the objective trend of economic development.This trend will no doubt to promote the economic growth of region and even the whole world.After entering the 21 st century,represented by the world trade organization(WTO)in the progress of multilateral trade negotiations or blocked or suspended,so the global economy began to focus on the regional economic integration and trade agreement,and expect to promote regional economic integration and the development of global economic integration.The main negotiating countries of the regional comprehensive economic partnership agreement(RCEP)have signed free trade agreement with Asian countries,namely,China,Japan,South Korea,Australia,New Zealand,India(" 10 + 6 ").It's primarily set up to eliminate trade barriers,such as tariff barriers and non-tariff barriers among sixteen countries,further enhance service trade development potential,and create a free and perfect investment mechanism and environment platform.Once the RCEP is completed,the elimination or sharp reduction of tariff barriers and non-tariff barriers among 16 countries will roundly improve the multilateral trade cooperation relations of China and other 15 countries,other 15 countries between each other,thus the development of China's foreign trade will have been promoted,at the same time,it will promote economic advantage complementary and deep development in the Asia-Pacific even the whole world.Under such an opportunity,the research on China's trade effect has certain guiding significance to the reality in the framework of the RCEP.This article altogether is divided into five parts,the specific content of each part are as follows.The first part is the introduction.This part firstly elaborated the research background of this article,the study problems has been created;secondly,it is about the research purpose and significance of this article;The third section is to review on the relevant literature both at home and abroad;The fourth quarter is the research content of the full text and the research method and technical route of this paper;finally,it is illustrates the innovative and existing deficiencies.The second part is the theoretical basis and practical analysis.The first section expounds the basic theory of regional economic integration;the second quarter introduces and analyzes the reality development of the RCEP which is in the build process of regional economic integration,its details include the general situation,the current negotiation process,the obstacles and future development trend of the RCEP;the third section tells the story of China's free trade area in the RCEP framework has been built;finally,makes a summary of this chapter.The third part is the summary and correlation analysis of China's import and export trade within the framework of the RCEP.The first section analyzes the import and export scale,the import and export growth rate,the proportion which accounts for the import and export of the whole world and trade structure between China and the whole region of RCEP;it is tells the trade general situation between China and the trade negotiations member countries(regions)in the RCEP framework,analyses the trade scale,the import and export growth rate,the proportion which accounts for the import and export of the RCEP,and analyses the comparative advantage of export industries between China and other countries(regions)in the RCEP region of by RCA index in the second quarter;finally,makes the summary.The fourth part is the empirical analysis part of this article.This article is based on the GTAP model to analyze China's trade effect in the framework of RCEP.The first two section of this chapter is the introduction of the GTAP model,the set model and data source;the third section which is based on the simulated results of the GTAP model analyses the Chinese trade effect,according to the three scene set by the model,it simulates China's trade effect after the completion of RCEP of three different degree of trade liberalization,mainly analyzes the influence of the construction of RCEP on China?s import and export scale,welfare,trade condition,GDP and industrial output,and make the comparison of effect between China and other countries in the area of the RCEP;the last chapter is the summary.The fifth part is conclusion and policy suggestions,a total of two.The first section is the conclusion of this article;the second section is the policy recommendations for China foreign trade in the RCEP framework.
