What is the effect of labor productivity on the level of employment? How does the relationship between labor productivity and employment level infect the process of globalization of the global industrial structure? The research on this field has always been the focus of attention of scholars at home and abroad. On the background of the new normal context in economic development,China’s industrial structure of the advanced level of continuous improvemence, and the importance of producer services has become increasingly prominent. This paper focus on how can the labor productivity of different industries affect the employment level of the producer service industry in China, and how the impact degree of the labor service industry constitutes. This paper mainly study the impact of labor productivity on the employment level of producer services in different industrial sectors(except for the first industry),and try to solve the above problem using the Baumol expansion model for analysis and the national statistical yearbook data to conduct empirical tests.Firstly, this paper analyzes the influence of domestic and foreign scholars on the impact of labor productivity on the employment level from the perspective of academic history. Then introduces the theory of non-equilibrium growth of two states, the Dutt intermediate product hypothesis, and the Clark theorem into this research as the theoretical basis, and make clear the impact of labor productivity on the employment level mechanism,to determine the different industries of labor productivity on the impact of China’s producer service industry research topics.Secondly, through the employment elasticity index, the paper analyzes the trend of the labor force absorption level of the producer service industry in our country and the correlation between the labor productivity and the employment level of the producer service industry.Next, based on the unbalanced growth model of the two departments of Bauer, the two sectors are extended to three sectors, trying to divide the service sector into the producer services sector and the consumer services sector.Through the construction of a three-sector economic model, the rate of change in the labor productivity rate of the manufacturing, producer services and consumer services sectors is deduced as the independent variable, and the rate of change in the employment share of the producer service sector is the dependent variable.Furthermore, according to the division criteria and availability data of the various sectors of our country, the derived model of the relationship between the relevant industries and industries in the country from 1991 to 2014 is used to test the conclusion: the increase in labor productivity in the sector has lagged behind the impact of the secondary industry on the growth in the share of producer services in the producer sector. The impact of the labor productivity of the producer serviceindustry on the share growth rate of the sector is the reverse effect, which means, the faster the growth rate of labor productivity in the sector, the faster the growth rate of employment growth will decline. In the employment structure,it is difficult to improve the labor productivity and employment in the sector at the same time.
