Research On The Application Of Income Approach In The Evaluation Of Patent Value Of Electronic Information Industry

With the development of our country 's national economy,as the biggest part of the high-tech industry,electronic Information Industry is developing rapidly,and the number of patent applications also increased year by year,patent transactions,pledge financing and other activities become increasingly frequent.In order to make the patent rights of this industry to participate in economic activities better,improve the efficiency of resource allocation and enhance national competitiveness,the valuation of patent value becomes one of the most important parts.At present,the valuation methods of patent rights mainly include cost method,market law,income method and real option law.This paper chooses the income method as the basic evaluation method of the patent value of the electronic information industry after analyzing the characteristics of the patent right,patent value evaluation and the valuation method of the patent right in the electronic information industry.At present,there is a great deal of randomness in evaluation parameter selection when using the income method to assess the value of the patent,it violates the scientific and impartial evaluation principle.In this situation,how to more accurately predict future earnings and determine the rate of technology sharing,So we can evaluate the value of the patent better by using the income method,which becomes the urgent problem to be solved in the field of patent value evaluation.Aiming at the problem of patent value evaluation,this paper firstly analyzes the characteristics of patent right in electronic information industry,mainly incudes four aspects:legal characteristics,technical characteristics,economic characteristics and risk characteristics.Secondly,this paper focuses on three aspects of the impact factors of patent valuation in electronic information industry.Then,we compared the four basic methods of patent evaluation.And next,we choose to use the method of comprehensive evaluation to determine the share rate of technology on the basis of the influence factors of the evaluation value of patent right in electronic information industry,and we use the same method to get the discount rate on the basis of the patent risk characteristics of electronic information industry,which make the relevant evaluation parameters to determine more comprehensive,reasonable and scientific and improve the accuracy of the patent value assessment.Finally,a case study was conducted using the above method to analyze the difference between the evaluation result and the actual transaction value,and verify the validity of the above method.
