Research On The Regional Logistics Index

With the development of economic globalization and information technology,modern logistics industry urgently needs a set of evaluation index system which can reflect the comprehensive level of regional logistics from multiple angles.And the regional logistics index is mainly used to measure the logistics capability in the aspects of basic facilities,development benefit,economic level and the impact on the environment.In this context,studies on the index will be conducive to horizontally comparing logistics capability in different regions,managing logistics industry and formulating macro policies and regulations.Furthermore,it will guide the improvement of logistics quality.The main research fruits on the regional logistics index are as follows:1.This paper takes the regional logistics capability as a research object,and analyzes the meaning of index,logistics index,regional logistics index and key factors that influence the level of regional logistics in detail.Based on that,it clarifies the construction principles,methods and process of regional logistics index.The construction process mainly includes two stages,index system framework and index system optimization.And it also analyzes the ideas and methods of each stage.2.On this basis,a quantitative screening model of index system is constructed,which can provide a strong theoretical support for the construction and comprehensive evaluation of the index system in the latter stage.3.In order to fully reflect the combination of theory and practice,this paper takes Sichuan province as an example to establish the evaluation index system of regional logistics index of Sichuan province from 2006 to 2013.It consists of four secondary indexes of logistics infrastructure,development benefit,economic environment,environmental impact and development potential and twenty-two third class indexes.Then,the paper calculates the value of each index by using the logistics comprehensive index model in detail.4.According to the trend and reasons of each index,it puts forward some suggestions on the future development of the logistics industry in Sichuan Province.The suggestions show that the government should continue to improve the investment effect of fixed assets,the level of logistics information and the number of logistics professionals.At the same time,it can not ignore the environment problems.
