Since 2004,Genetically modified soybeans began to enter the domestic, and now there are more than ten kinds of genetically modified crops such as corn, rape, rice, cotton and tomatoes and so on,indicating that Genetically modified food has been unknowingly entered the daily life of consumers. However, this does not mean that consumers have a good understanding of genetically modified foods and their advantages and disadvantages. And with the rapid development of China's bio-engineering technology in the food field, consumers are increasingly concerned about genetically modified foods, and the ensuing debate is endless, consumers play a key role in the context of Genetically modified food market, their awareness and attitude is the key to determine whether the future success of genetically modified food. Therefore,it is necessary to research the consumer's willingness of choosing genetically modified foods. The purpose of this paper is to understand the consumer's awareness of genetically modified foods, accept attitudes, purchase intention and obtain the consumer's premium to non-transgenic soybean oil through field investigation.By analyzing the effect factors of Consumer choice behavior and the willingness to pay,to provide a scientific basis for the proper evaluation and understanding of the behavior of GM food consumers and the development of relevant policies for the development of genetically modified foods. This paper provides the basic introduction of transgenic food to be studied, including the related concepts of transgenic technology and the development status of genetically modified food products. For the payment premium of non-transgenic soybean oil,In this paper, based on the relevant literature at home and abroad,we apply the two boundary condition value assessment method which is the most popular in the field of public goods valuationThis paper expatiates the definition of bivariate CVM method, the principle of economics and the parameter calculation model. In order to ensure the validity of the method and the accuracy of the research data, the possible deviation of CVM and solutions are described in detail, and a number of programs are adopted to deal with the possible errors in the investigation process. The questionnaire used in this study is a double-bounding approach, mainly in face-to-face interviews in the form of CVM questionnaire survey, and a total of 300 questionnaires are issued.286 questionnaires were collected, including 258 valid questionnaires. The paper analyzes the causes of consumer refusal to pay, that is,consumers refuse to pay for non-GM soybean oil premium, that is,the choice of genetically modified soybean oil,the main reason is concentrated in the"transgenic soybean oil cheaper","genetically modified soybean oil richer" etc.The paper used survival analysis method to build model and calculate questionnaire data.we constructed the model of consumer choice behavior and the survival analysis model of willingness to pay.In the course of establishing the model, three principal factor variables of consumer attitudes to the advantages and disadvantages of genetically modified foods are extracted by factor analysis, and the model is used for regression analysis, which reduces the difficulty of the questionnaire analysis. The results show that age, education level, individual annual income, safety awareness, informed of genetically modified food channels and understanding of genetically modified foods have a significant impact on consumer choice behavior.Gender, age, education level and individual annual income,as well as the degree of understanding of genetically modified foods, whether labeling, advocacy agencies genetically of modified food and attitudes towards the developing prospect of genetically modified foods have a significant impact on willingness to pay. Finally, the consumers' pay premium of non-transgenic soybean oil is 12 yuan/barrel,which was non-transgenic soybean oil prices slightly higher than the market price of GM soybean oil sales.
