Application Research On Harvard Analytical Framework

Harvard analysis framework is a framework stool of strategic analysis and financial analysis in enterprises,which was put forward the earliest by PEP,Healy and Bernard from the Harvard University in 2000.In the analysis framework,it was thought that there should be the analysis from the internal and external environment of the enterprise and its business strategy in the effective financial statements analysis.It was advocated that,in the financial statement analysis,there should be the analysis from four points:accounting analysis,forecasting,strategic analysis and financial analysis.In Harvard analysis framework,the quantitative and qualitative analysis method was mainly used to understand the situation of enterprises,to provide more comprehensive information for enterprise management and investors,so as to make correct investment decisions according to the information.In the paper,the listed company of HT was used as a reseach sample.Through Harvard analysis framework,the financial situation,operating results and cash flow analysis in HT education from 2013 to 2015 were analyzed.With the combination of the internal and external environment,HT was analyzed strategically and in account.And other companies in the industry were selected as comparative samples for analysis,in order to better find the problems in the operation of HT.The problems were analyzed to put forward the policy recommendations and further research area for investigators.In the reseach,in the case reseach method,on the basis of three kinds of financial statements of HT,there were mainly the off-balance-sheet,the cash flow statement,the income statement and financial data annotated by the relevant statements.The information in HT education and industry from 2013 to 2015 was coIlected.Through the Harvard Analysis Framework,these data was analyzed,so as to understand enough financial situation of the company.In this paper,the following research methods were adopted in the reseach:(1)BCG analysis tool,(2)SWOT analysis tool.In the reseach,the specific methods used in the financial analysis were:(1)The ratio analysis method.It was mainly used to analyze the financial data of the enterprise,such as the related ratio,the efficiency ratio,composing rate.(2)Comparative analysis method.It was used to compare and analyze the financial data in the HT company from 2013 to 2015.The balance sheet,cash flow statement,and the income statement were longitudinally analyzed.(3)The trend analysis method,it was used to carry out trend analysis on the financial data of HT company from 2013 to 2015,including the horizontal and vertical analysis of the data and incoming status,the change trend analysis of the main increase and decrease index,etc.
