Power industry is one of the most important basic energy industries related to the people's livelihood.Production and management of electricity enterprises is also the material consumption process,and therefore,material management is an important segment of cost and quality management.Process optimization and model innovation becomes a key problem to power enterprises in changeful marketplace.Material management model innovation of Chaozhou Electricity Plant is studied in the paper.The current situation of its material management is analyzed and diagnosed from four angles.Problems and defects in demand planning,purchasing,warehouse,supplier and wastes management are discovered consequently.Material management model innovation in terms of process optimization is studied in the main part of the paper.Firstly,principle,methods and procedures of material management process optimization is put forward.Secondly,a new material management system is established which is composed of demand planning,purchasing,statistic analysis,supplier,accident spare parts,scrap recycling,inventory,information,incorrupt administration and evaluation management.In conclusion,supporting measures are submit from such four aspects as personnel assignment,training,constraining,competition and cooperation mechanism,evaluation and incentive system.The result of this paper is helpful to Chaozhou Electricity Plant in guiding material management practice,and gives a reference to other electricity enterprises as well.
