Analysis On The Correlation Effect And Supporting Role Of Producer Service On Economic Growth

Since 1980s,"industrial economy" to "service economy" in the transformation of the general trend in the global scope has emerged.Producer service as one of the most important sectors of service industry,the relevance of other industries and the support to economic growth has been concerned by scholars both at home and abroad.This paper based on the 2012 input-output tables and 1994--2014 years of relevant time series data on the relationship between service industry and economic growth in the productivity of a system for analysis of Tianjin,Tianjin thereby discover traditional strengths and shortcomings,then put forward some policy recommendations targeted to achieve sustained rapid growth and success of economic restructuring Tianjin economy.Paper consists of six chapters as follows:The first chapter,the first describes the background and significance of this paper,research progress at home and abroad were summarized,and the research ideas and the main content of the article summarized.The second chapter,the concept of producer services and industrial classification,the concept of Industrial Relations and measurement method,the transmission mechanism producer services promote economic growth made a study of the system,designed to provide theoretical support for this research.Comprehensive previous view,this article will be defined as the producer services to meet the needs of middle and provide production activities of external businesses and other organizations to intermediate inputs of services,rather than to meet the needs of the final consumer services;the definition of producer services for the production of services accounted for most of the output of the service sector.From operational considerations,this paper intermediate demand rate of 50%as the division limit the number of producer services and consumer services,intermediate demand rate ?50%of the overall service sector is regarded as producer services,on the contrary,intermediate demand<50%of the services were placed under the overall consumer services.Study also found that people generally use input-output model measures the industry correlation effect;and,in theory,the development of a regional producer services are possible by increasing the level of urbanization,promoting employment and improving productivity and thus promote economic growth in the region.The third chapter,using the second chapter of producer services defined quantitative criteria,based on the 2007 and 2012 input-output table,the status of the development of Tianjin producer services carried out a statistical description and comparative analysis.The results show that:the secondary industry,especially the manufacturing sector still dominates the Tianjin Economic Development;development of producer services is slow,the overall low level;Tianjin GDP accounted for the top three service sector wholesale and retail trade,transportation,storage and postal services,financial services,and both belong to the producer services sector;Development of traditional services to wholesale and retail trade as the representative has matured,and leasing and business services sector,represented by the rapid growth of the modern service industry,the current development of the service sector is in Tianjin from the traditional to the modern service industry services transition phase,the modern service industry is expected to become the main force in the development of the service industry.The fourth chapter,using input-output analysis method,based on the 2007 and 2012 input-output tables,the industrial correlation effects of Tianjin producer services were analyzed.The results showed that:producer services for primary and secondary industries of services is weakening,more for their own services;producer services is the main target of manufacturing and their own,the direct and indirect contribution of the manufacturing sector is weakening;producer services mostly have the characteristics of the industry of "low value-added,high driving ability";the development of secondary industry for each producer services sector has a great degree of dependence and constraints,manufacturing and producer services play a crucial role in the economic development of Tianjin;producer services as a whole to boost the economy is greater than the demand-pull effect in other sectors;the impact of the final demand for producer services is larger,reflects the "production services" of producer services feature to get a good play,but the sub-industry perspective,from 2007 to 2012 is only part of the production of services(leasing and business services,financial services)"production service" function is increasing,and some producer services(transportation,storage and postal industry,wholesale and retail trade)"production service" function is weakened,require separate treatment;in addition,each service sector,including producer services,the output growth towards stimulating investment demand.The fifth chapter,the second chapter on the basis of the analysis of the transmission mechanism,taking Tianjin city 1994-2014 years time series data as sample,Using co integration test and regression analysis method,and further from the level of urbanization,employment and productivity three paths empirical test of producer services promote economic growth transmission mechanism.The results showed that:production service industry level,second and three industry of city employment and manufacturing labor productivity have obvious positive effect,but phased view,compared to the previous phase(1994-2005 years),positive role in promoting the production of services to the level of urbanization and manufacturing labor productivity at a later stage(2006-2014)has a weakening trend;the level of urbanization,employment of secondary and tertiary sectors and labor productivity in the manufacturing sector to economic growth has a significant positive role in promoting.This shows that Tianjin producer services by increasing urbanization,creating jobs and improving manufacturing labor productivity promoting economic growth,but there is still some room for improvement.The sixth chapter,first article current situation of the development of productive service industry in Tianjin,the relationship between producer services and other industries and"production service" function of the play,as well as producer services promote economic growth pathways,etc.the analysis results are summarized and put forward relevant policy recommendations.
