The producer service industry is a modern service industry with high concentration, high knowledge and high radiation. It has strong industrial spatial correlation and high human and intellectual capital intensification. It is promoting regional industrial competitiveness and promoting industrial structure upgrading. And play an important role in promoting sound and rapid economic development. However,in real life, there are problems such as blind development, lack of overall concept and low proportion in the development of China's productive service industry. With the “13th Five-Year Plan for the Development of Modern Service Industry in Guangdong Province” issued by Guangdong Province in 2017 and the official release of the “Development Plan for Guangdong,Hong Kong and Macao Dawan District” in 2019,it further emphasizes the need to make Dawan District a world.Demonstration bases such as the city group and the International Science and Technology Innovation Center, the development of the production service industry in Guangdong Province has ushered in an important historical opportunity. This paper first combs the externality theory, the new economic geography theory and the economic growth theory, and then analyzes the impact mechanism of the producer service industry agglomeration on economic development. Then we collected various economic data and comprehensively analyzed the current situation of the gathering of producer services in Guangdong Province. Then, under the previous theoretical framework, the indicators of specialized agglomeration, diversified agglomeration and spatial agglomeration of producer services were constructed, and the agglomeration effects of cities in Guangdong and above were analyzed in depth. Then the paper introduces the Douglas production function, introduces the core indicators of this paper into the theoretical model, constructs the panel model, and performs static and dynamic analysis on the model.Through the research, the paper draws the following conclusions:(1)The employment population of the producer service industry in Guangdong Province has been on the rise, but its proportion of the total employment population in Guangdong Province has shown a “W” trend; At the same time, the production service industry in Guangdong Province also has uneven regional development; From the perspective of various sub-sectors,its development has a tendency to move towards the middle and high-end,but the proportion of employment in the traditional producer service industry is still relatively large;(2)the gap in the concentration of specialization in various regions of Guangdong Province is large, and the overall There is a downward trend, and the development of diversity agglomeration is just the opposite, and the concentration of diversity is less than the general agglomeration,The spatial agglomeration of the producer service industry presents a state of “central-periphery”.(3)The results of static analysis and dynamic analysis are generally consistent.Specialized agglomeration and diversified agglomeration in Guangdong and Pearl River Delta regions have positive effects on the economy, but spatial agglomeration shows a significant negative effect. The development of productive service industries in Guangdong Province and the Pearl River Delta region may have problems of “relative surplus” and unreasonable planning. Finally, based on the research results and the actual situation in Guangdong Province,it is proposed to select the production service industry agglomeration mode, scientific planning industry layout, and actively establish communication channels for enterprises to promote the coordinated, stable and sustainable development of Guangdong Province.
