Twenty-first Century is the era of knowledge economy,science and technology is a powerful driving force for social development.The form of social economy transforms from agricultural economy to knowledge economy,knowledge and information have become the pillars of social and economic development replacing natural resources such as land.In this context,the key to an enterprise's competitive advantage is science and technology,information and creativity.As an important carrier of the three parties,human resources naturally become a resource that companies need to pay close attention to.Therefore,the importance of knowledge workers who have abtained knowledge and innovation ability in modern enterprises is increasing day by day.Most of the innovation is carried out by knowledge workers.Therefore,the innovation performance of knowledge workers plays an important role in the development of enterprises.Enterprises want to gain competitive advantage in the dynamic and complex market environment,it is necessary to encourage employees,especially knowledge workers to innovate,to achieve high standards of innovation performance.Therefore,it is one of the key points of enterprise management that how to take measures to stimulate the innovation behavior of knowledge workers,so as to achieve higher innovation performance.This paper will focus on the factors that influence the innovation performance of knowledge workers.Some scholars introduce leadership theory into the field of innovation,starting from different leadership styles,study on the effect of different leadership styles on knowledge workers' innovative performance such as transactional leadership,empowerment leadership,paternalistic leadership and transformational leadership.In this paper,a new perspective of authorized leadership is selected.This paper introduces the theory of goal setting and the research achievements in the field of Psychology.At present,there is still a lack of research on the relationship between the authorized leadership and the innovative performance of knowledge workers,and it is necessary to discuss the relationship between them in order to provides a theoretical basis for enterprises to adopt reasonable and effective means to motivate knowledge workers to improve innovation performance.In this paper,the knowledge workers is the research object,the goal setting and psychological capital are used as intermediary variables and adjustment variables.This paper adopts the method of literature research and empirical research.First of all,this paper reviews the relevant literature at home and abroad to understand the current situation and shortcomings of the research on the innovation performance of knowledge workers,so as to get the research hypothesis and theoretical model.On this basis,this study combined with the development of maturity scale,the design of the questionnaire.Data collected through questionnaires.In Hefei and surrounding cities to meet the definition of knowledge workers randomly distributed questionnaires,a total of 251 valid questionnaires were collected.The issuance of the questionnaire is divided into five parts.The first part is the basic information,covering the subjects of age,gender,profession,education and other information;the second part is the measurement of the quantity of authorized leadership table;the third part is the measurement of innovation performance;the fourth part is the goal setting scale;the fifth part is the psychological capital scale.In addition to the first part of the basic information,the other parts are made of Likert-5 scale.In this study,SPSS 18.0 software was used to process the collected data to test the reliability and validity of the scale and the correlation between the variables.After that,the hypothesis is tested by means of multi level linear regression.The conclusions of this study are as follows:empowering leadership has a positive impact on knowledge workers' innovative performance;goal setting plays a mediating role between empowering leadership and innovation performance of knowledge workers;psychological capital has a moderating effect between empowering leadership and the knowledge staff goal setting.Finally,according to the research results,this paper puts forward some practical suggestions to the modern enterprise managers.
