Feasibility Analysis And Scheme Design Of Potato Price Insurance In Chongqing

Potatoes are increasingly becoming an important consumer of daily life.The stability of potato prices is not only related to the daily consumption of residents,but also the economic interests of growers.In Chongqing,for example,the volatility of potato prices creates a phenomenon of production increases,but income does not increases.In order to stabilize the potato market and protect the income of the growers,the author designs a set of insurance schemes based on the successful experience of domestic and foreign price insurance and the risk characteristics of potato in Chongqing.This paper first analyzes the necessity and feasibility of promoting potato price insurance in Chongqing.Chongqing potato planting area in the year-on-year growth,stable production,potato farmers are currently facing the main price risk.The data from 2005 to 2015 show that there are four factors: the trend of potato price change,the trend of cyclical fluctuation,the trend of seasonal fluctuation and the trend of random fluctuation.The price risk is systematic and non-completely random,and the one-year insurance period is,The price risk is not guaranteed,but from 3 years for a period of insurance,price insurance can be shared from the vertical income of farmers.This paper analyzes how to convert the insecurity of potato price risk into an insurmountable problem and combs the potential risks that insurance companies may insure on potato price insurance.At present,the price insurance of agricultural products has been started from Chongqing,but it not covers the risk of potato price.The necessity and feasibility of this paper provide some reference for the future practice of potato price insurance in Chongqing.The practice of price insurance of American pig with the same price risk characteristics as potato price insurance and the practice of price insurance in EU,Mexico and China Shandong also provide some reference for the analysis of this paper.Based on the practical experience at home and abroad,this paper designs a set of potato price insurance scheme based on the principle of insurance and the risk characteristics of potato price.After analyzing the basic characteristics of potato in Chongqing,this paper introduces the practice of price insurance of American pig with the same price risk characteristic as that of Chongqing Potato Price Insurance andMexico and China Shandong price insurance practice experience.Finally,based on the practical experience at home and abroad,this paper designs a set of potato price insurance scheme based on the related insurance knowledge and the risk characteristics of potato price in Chongqing.The main innovation of this paper is to use the statistical knowledge to analyze the price risk of potato systematically,and combine it into the product design,and clarify the design points in the insurance contract.At the same time,the problems that may be encountered in the process of promotion are also sorted out,and the corresponding suggestions are given.
