In recent years,China's economy has entered a new situation,domestic and international financial market competition is becoming increasingly fierce.Local commercial banks as the support force of the third tier of China's commercial banking system,its development process less than three decades,but it plays a decisive role in the development of China's economic strength.The current local commercial banks under the dual pressures of the external environment and their own transformation,how to overcome their own weaknesses and shortcomings to maintain a rapid and stable development trend is importance for the local commercial banks.The key of dealing with the question is to cultivate and enhance their competitive pressure.Therefore,the study of the competitiveness of local commercial banks is of great significance to the realization of sustainable development.At the same time,the rapid developed experience of local commercial banks in the past two decades needs to be summed up.This paper first summarizes the classical literature at home and abroad from the four aspects of the relationship between bank size and competitiveness,the relationship between banking scope and competitiveness,the relationship between banking system and competitiveness,the relationship between bank efficiency and competitiveness.This paper expounds the theory of enterprise competitiveness and the theory of competition of commercial banks,and makes preparatory work for the analysis of the competitiveness index of Ganzhou bank.Then the author,combined with his own years of work experience,chooses Ganzhou Bank as a representative of local commercial banks,reviewed the Ganzhou Bank from the beginning to how to step by step strongebigger development process summed up the recent development of Ganzhou Bank and the difficulties faced.By comparing the results of SWOT analysis and competitiveness index,this paper analyzes the competitive situation of Ganzhou Bank and compares with other similar commercial banks in Jiangxi,and puts forward the advantages and disadvantages of the development of Ganzhou Bank at the present stage,and the opportunities and challenges.This paper puts forward the countermeasures to enhance the competitiveness of Ganzhou Bank from the aspects of perfect system construction,strengthen financial innovation,promote business transformation,locate effective market and reduce operational risk,and put Ganzhou bank as an example to improve the competitiveness of local commercial banks future outlook.
