Research On Cultural Consumption Of Urban Residents In China Based On Spatial Econometric Model

In recent years,with the needs of China's economic restructuring,consumption began to be valued by the community.As an important part of consumption,Cultural consumption not only has the function of meeting people's spiritual and cultural needs,but also plays an important role in promoting economic development.Because of the spatial dependence between adjacent regions,the spillover effect of cultural consumption between neighboring regions is becoming more and more prominent.However,the existing literature is limited to the theory of cultural consumption,the status quo and influencing factors,focusing on cultural spillover effects of space consumption is rare.Based on the panel data of 31 provinces in China from 2005 to 2014.this paper uses the spatial econometric model to reveal the spatial spillover effects of urban residents' cultural consumption in China,discusses its influencing factors and proposes regional cultural consumption synergies.The results show that although the total cultural consumption of urban residents in China is increasing,there is still a large gap between different regions.There is a positive spatial correlation between urban residents 'cultural consumption in China,but spatial correlation of urban residents' cultural consumption in some provinces is not strong;The results of spatial econometric model show that the per capita disposable income of urban residents,the consumption propensity of urban residents and the rate of urbanization can promote the level of cultural consumption in the region,The consumption tendency and urbanization rate of urban residents have a positive effect on the cultural consumption of the surrounding areas.Combined with the theoretical and empirical analysis,some suggestions are put forward.Including give Full Play to Spillover Effect of Cultural Consumption of Urban Residents;Accelerate the coordinated development of cultural industries;Multi-channel increase urban residents' income;Actively guide the cultural consumption of urban residents;Vigorously promote the new urbanization process;Accelerate the return of educational public welfare;Strengthen the cultural infrastructure construction.
