A Study On The Procedural Model Of Crowdsourcing And Platform Construction:Perspective Of Business Model Forming Process

Revolution in emerging technologies has promoted the development of society,but it also leads to uncertainty in the competitive environment of enterprises.As the business environment becoming increasingly competitive and dynamic,it is unable for a single enterprise to have enough technical knowledge and resources to achieve continuous innovation.More and more enterprises recognize the importance of collective wisdom.A prominent manifestation is that enterprises first changed their innovation model from the closed innovation into an open one,and then into Internet companies and online community network model.Finally it turn out into Crowdsourcing based on the network.Internet-based Crowdsourcing has become an effective model for supporting enterprises to implement open innovation and tap collective wisdom.However,despite the crowdsourcing of the Internet has shown a strong vitality in practice,but there are still many challenges.In China,enterprises have not taken crowdsourcing as a model of innovation in fact and the application scope of crowdsourcing is relatively narrow.Analysis of the procedural model of Crowdsourcing is helpful for enterprise's deep-rooted innovation.In addition,the operation of crowdsourcing platform is also facing difficulties in profitability and other issues.Under this circumstance,the analysis of crowdsourcing platform business model is particularly important.Based on the analysis and summarization of the previous research results,the main components of the crowdsourcing system includes the behavior and relationship framework,the platform operation mechanism.This paper further categorizes the crowdsourcing process into four stages:the definition and release of the crowdsourcing task,the solution collection o,the optimum solution selection,and the crowdsourcing performance feedback.Enterprises participate in crowdsourcing process by building their own crowdsourcing platform or selecting a professional crowdsourcing platform.In this paper,we construct the procedural model of crowdsourcing by the match between different types of crowdsourcing tasks and the transaction machines.And then identify the key elements of the business model of the crowdsourcing platform,including CVP,core resource capabilities,target customers,customer solutions and profit models.This paper compares and summarizes the business models of four different types of network platforms,including Threadeless,IC platform,Elance-oDesk and Bajie.com in order to extract some common features that learn from.
