Now,with the rapid development of the global economy,energy consumption is increasing,the economic and environmental problems caused by the consumption of traditional energy should not be underestimated,so the wave to reduce the use of traditional energy and look for alternative energy sets off in the world,and the new energy automotive industry has emerged.The auto industry in China has developed for decades,although it has become the world's largest producer and consumer of vehicles,the vehicles jointly produced with foreign brands account for the major part of sales,China's domestic vehicles are flooded by many international brands and difficult to maintain the livelihood.They do not have independent intellectual property rights,although they take the lead in sales,the vast majority of profits are taken away by foreign vehicle companies,and they can only rely on cheap labor to earn a meager income and so on,which has become an acute pain for China's automobile industry.Now,at the early stage of the transition from the traditional vehicles to the new energy vehicles,China has simultaneously started the research and development and production of new energy vehicles with famous automobile enterprises from developed countries and there is little difference between them,through protection of government and their own efforts,they absolutely have a chance to catch up with and surpass those foreign famous automobile enterprises,domestic vehicles can realize "corner overtaking".This paper first describes definition and classification of new energy vehicles,then describes national policies and development situation of foreign and domestic new energy automotive industry,and then through the analysis and comparison of a large number of sales data between domestic and international passenger vehicle market and new energy passenger vehicle market,sums up advantages and disadvantages of the industry of domestic new energy passenger vehicles,and puts forward domestic and international trade strategy of new energy vehicle enterprises in China.The advantage of the domestic market depends on technology,market selection,product differentiation,cost saving and appropriate financing capacity;analysis of the international market is mainly to use the six key elements of Potter Diamond Theory to analyze advantages and disadvantages of the industry of domestic new passenger vehicles one by one,and finally,through the theory of intra industry trade,this paper analyzes the choice of the international market for domestic new energy vehicles.
