Warehouse sales,as a sales pattern fully adaptable to modern people's life pace and consumption ways,has been favored by consumers from its birth.The introduction and application of this sale model in the furniture circulation field is a challenge for and also a complement to Chinese traditional chain operation,and also has an great impact on the traditional sales models.This kind of furniture sales model is new in our country and its development is far from being perfect,which is closely related with the characteristics of furniture,this special commodity,and Chinese living and consuming habits.In the current Chinese furniture market,which is influenced by the real state policies and environment protection regulation policies,consuming needs are various and consequently sales models are diverse.Therefore,it is necessary to explore a systematic and targeted warehouse sale model for furniture,which is a crucial step to ensure its healthy development.The biggest advantage of warehouse furniture sales is cost-effective.Different from the traditional ways which depend on low cost,warehouse furniture sales manages to lower the managing cost and improve products with high quality and low cost.Although a lot of industries and stores advertise their products with high quality and low cost,they are driven by interest and restricted by different business model,which makes consumers fail to get products with ideal quality and price.From this point,the paper studies the traditional sales models,briefly displays their advantages and disadvantages,analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of furniture chain stores and online sales,the current main sales way,and finally introduces the necessity of developing warehouse sales.Based on the information of traditional furniture sales models,the paper combined with the exploration of the operating characteristics of such sales malls such Yi Jia(Ikea),Mai Delong(Metro),it is found that warehouse sales model is inevitable and it has enormous space to develop,which is the guidance to operate Mei Di Furniture Hall.It holds that great emphasis must be put on the close relation between sales and design,so the requirement from the market must be put into the design process with the aim to attain market leading production.The paper introduces a clear thought to develop the furniture industry.
