Research On Smart City Model In The "Internet +" As The Core Idea

The rapid development of information technology accelerates the urbanization around the world,meanwhile,it also leads to traffic jam,inefficient urban emergency system,and urgent need of thorough environment detection system.How to develop cities in a sustainable,green and healthy way? "smart city" comes into light as the new concept and practice for the future urban development.Cloud computing,mobile internet and other advanced information technology make it possible to build a smart city.Based on the case study of Shanghai,Xiamen,New York and Singapore's smart city construction modes,this essay analyzes and compares the pros and cons of these 4 cases,combines theory with practice,as well as conducting small sample surveys in governments,enterprises and the public.It proposes the industrial chain integration mode of smart city,which is "government + content providers + service providers",in order to solve the problems such as the vague concepts,undefined denotations,"isolated islands" in the business information,the marginalization of many ICT firms,the lack of effective evaluation mechanism,the absence of supporting measures in the smart city development.According to this framework,this essay illustrates the design of the infrastructure,the livelihood of the people and government affairs etc.,which are key aspects of smart city construction.
