Research On Supply Chain Based Purchasing Cost Control For A Curtain Wall Enterprises

In recent years,with the continuous progress and development of building technology,the curtain wall has been widely used in modern construction because of its advantage on beautiful appearance,convenient construction,energy-saving,sealing performance and maintenance etc.Domestic construction level had made great progress in the past 30 years,the difference among the enterprises on curtain wall design and construction is becoming smaller and smaller,which lead to the increasingly fierce competition in the market.In this environment,we should strive to do better on cost control to help the enterprise to maintain competitiveness in the market competition.Since the purchase cost contributes large proportion in the total enterprise cost,the purchase cost control greatly impacts the cost competitiveness of the enterprises.With analyzing the current domestic enterprise's purchase cost control status,this paper finds that there are many deficiencies of traditional purchase cost control theory and it has been unable to meet the needs of the enterprise development.To study and introduce the purchase cost control from the supply chain perspective is an inevitable trend today.With taking A curtain wall enterprise as an example,this paper first to analyze the current purchase cost management status of A curtain wall enterprise,next to dig out its problems and the corresponding root cause,then to design the supply chain based cost control system,at last to study the effectiveness of this system in practice.By focusing on total cost of the supply chain,the supply chain based purchase cost control system could discover more opportunities for further purchase cost reduction,and control the total purchase cost better,which will help to enhance the core competitiveness of the enterprise.Through the research on this subject,the author hopes to provide some values for the purchase cost control for curtain wall and similar enterprises.
