Since the policy of reform and opening-up,China's economic has made tremendous achievement,people's income and living standard have been gradually improved,with the continuous reform of economic system and gradually upgrade of industrial structure,significant changes have been taken place in labor market of our country.At present there are binary segmentation in the labor market of the city,the division of the labour market has led to the widening wage differentials,is harmful to the development of economy,social fairness and stability.The article study the wage gap between the major labor market and the secondary labor market from the perspective of professional division,the wage gap of the labor market mainly contains two aspects:the differences between individual characteristics is one of the reasons;On the other hand because of labor discrimination.In this paper,I analyze and wage difference in the labor market with the combination of theoretical analysis and empirical research,the paper first introduces the relevant theories of labor market segmentation,the second,the reasons of the wage gap with economics theory are described;In the empirical part,this article,based on China National Nutrition and Health Survey(CHNS),on the basis of descriptive analysis,analyzes the wage incomes and the wage differentials between the major labor market and the secondary labor market with the methods of Oaxaca-Blinder and quantile decomposition.The results show that there are an wage differences between the primary labour market and the secondary labor market in China.According to the result of Oaxaca-Blinder,the discrimination of the labour market mainly caused the wage difference;then quantile decomposition results show that with the improvement of income level,the wage gap has been narrowing between the major labor market and the secondary labor market,and the effect of individual characteristics is increasing gradually,but the effect of the market discrimination factors becomes gradual weak.To solve these problems,this article put forward relevant policies and suggestions from the aspects of human capital investment,the system of social insurance and the system of HuKou reform,the regulations of the market.
