This article constructed the theoretical model of the Asian emerging market countries(regions) based on the energy efficiency theory, the embeddedness theory and the multilevel statistical model, which to solve the problem of the influence path and accuracy of embedded. variables on energy efficiency and provide policy recommendations for improving the energy efficiency of emerging market countries(regions) in Asia. The article empirically analyzes the energy efficiency problem of the Asian emerging market countries (regions) from the perspective of embeddedness based on the relevant panel data of the nine Asian emerging market countries (regions) (China's mainland,Indonesia, India, Singapore, Philippines, Malaysia, Republic of Korea, Hong Kong of China,Thailand). First of all, this paper established the mathematical model of energy efficiency of the Asian emerging market countries (regions) based on embedded multilevel statistical model. Then, using the super-efficient DEA method, taking the total capital formation, labor force, energy consumption as inputs, the gross national product as the desirable output, carbon dioxide emissions as the non consensual output to measure the total factor of energy efficiency value of the selected nine Asian emerging market countries (regions). Finally, it empirically analyzes the impact of various economic variables and social embeddedness variables on energy efficiency by using the previous mathematical model. The results show that: there are great differences of energy efficiency between the Asian emerging market countries(regions). Among them, Philippines, Singapore, and Hong Kong have the highest energy efficiency value. The energy efficiency value of South Korea, Malaysia and Thailand are the second. The energy efficiency value of China, India and Indonesia are the lowest. Moreover, 80.95% of the large differences in the energy efficiency of each country (region) can be explained by the social embeddedness variables, only about 19.05% of the differences, can be explained by the energy economic variables. For the total factor energy efficiency of the Asian emerging market countries(regions), the direct and significant factors are the agricultural proportion and technology progress, the next are the proportion of industrial and manufacturing. The indirect and significant factors are the proportion of Nature Reserve (political embeddedness), the willingness of individual environmental tax (cognitive embeddedness), the willingness of individual environmental investment (cognitive embeddedness) and the proportion of fuel imports in total imports (relationship embeddedness).
