With the development of the era,the competition of the enterprises in the rapidly developing and changing market becomes more and more fierce.Each enterprise wants to be in an invincible position,not only needs the enterprise managers to respond quickly and accurately,but also needs every employee in the enterprise to work together to promote the progress and development of the enterprise.Because the employee is a member of the enterprise family,so in addition to the completion of their own work,the extra-role behaviors will be more conducive to enterprises.Among them,the role of employee voice behavior is particularly prominent.The staff not only can put forward creative and constructive ideas and suggestions to help enterprises solve the problems so as to make the enterprise get rid of plight;can also put forward preventive advice,avoid enterprises into trouble in.However,the employee voice is often accompanied by the risk of breaking the organizational harmony,especially in the context of Chinese traditional Confucian culture.Therefore,how to promote the employee voice has been one of the important tasks faced by researchers and practitioners.In this paper,we discuss the effect of supervisor developmental feedback on employee voice and explore the mechanism of employee job involvement and emotional intelligence.This paper conducted a questionnaire survey of 752 employees from different industries in the central region of our country.Based on the social exchange theory,this study examined the mediating role of employee job involvement in the relationship between the supervisor developmental feedback and the employee voice and the moderating effect of emotional intelligence in their relationship.The SPSS22 statistical analysis software is used to verify the hypothesis of the theoretical model.The results show that:(1)the supervisor developmental feedback is positively correlated with the employee voice;(2)the employee job involvement plays a partial mediating role between the supervisor developmental feedback and the employee voice;(3)the emotional intelligence of employees can positively moderate the relationship between supervisor developmental feedback and employee job involvement,namely the higher the emotional intelligence of the employees.the stronger the positive relationship between the supervisor developmental feedback and employee job involvement;(4)the emotional intelligence of employees can negatively moderate the relationship between employee job involvement and employee voice,namely the higher the emotional intelligence of the employees,the weaker the positive relationship between the employee job involvement and employee voice.Finally,the theoretical and practical implication of the study is discussed.Based on the social exchange theory,this study first explores the mechanism and the influencing factors of the employee voice behavior from the perspective of the supervisor feedback.And it has important practical significance to enhance the enterprise internal communication management.
