Study On User Perceived Risk Of Personal Cloud Storage And Its Impact On The Intention Of Depth Use

Personal cloud storage is a service for individual users which provided by cloud storage services,as a product of progress and innovation in IT field,in recent years,the demand of users is more and more strong but because of the perception of risk the users don't use further,so numerous cloud storage service providers have to close personal service,which is a serious impediment to its development.Thus the personal cloud storage user perceived risk and its impact on user behavior has important significance to study,this can help break the predicament of personal cloud storage and improve its healthy development.Based on the existing research,this article has done the following work from four aspects:(1)Designed and verified the measuring scale of personal cloud storage users perceived risk dimension.Through the user interviews and literature reading to design the initial measuring scale of user perceived risk,and then forming the formal scale by a preliminary investigation and correction,finally verify it again by formal investigation.(2)Explored the dimensions of personal cloud storage user perceived risk and its characteristic dimensions.The personal cloud storage user perceived risk can be divided into six dimensions:functionality,privacy,security services,psychological,social,and linking risk,and linking risk is the characteristic dimension.(3)Explored and verified the impact of the characteristics of different users for the each dimension of user perceived risk.Put forward relevant assumptions according to the literature,the article has tested the impact of gender,age,educational background,using time and frequency of use,the negative news to every dimension of the user perceived risk,and analyzed the results.(4)Explored the impact of each dimension of perceived risk for user resistance intention of depth using.First defining user resistance intention of depth using by reading literature and establish a model,and then make assumptions.Through data analysis the article,the article find a significant positive correlation between the privacy,service,security and linking risk and user resistance intention of depth using.Finally,based on the above analysis,this paper gives some suggestions for the development of personal cloud storage from various angles.
