Research On Quality Of Experience Evaluation In Personal Cloud Storage

Cloud storage is a cloud computing system which centered both on data storage and management.It's a kind of StaaS service.Recently,Personal cloud storage has come into vogue between Internet technology and mobile internet users.Hence it also attracted much attention of scholars.However,the viscosity of old user has decline because of the instability of cloud storage and closing or transition of some cloud service providers.So how to improve the personal cloud storage quality of user experience has become a major problem of current concern.Moreover,scholars across the world have done much research on the concept and application of QoE,but there is few research of QoE evaluation on personal cloud storage.The current research also lacks a deep understanding of personal cloud storage and the domestic cloud storage market that is no longer suitable for huge changes.Therefore,this research is of great scientific significance and application value to improve the QoE evaluation method and establish user experience evaluation index system based on QoE for personal cloud storage.Research towards cloud storage lack depth and no longer keep pace with the greatly changed cloud storage market.Therefore,an application of QoE evaluation method and construction of Evaluation Index system on personal cloud storage are valuable in reality and of great scientific significance.Based on the above background,this paper mainly focus on the QoE evaluation of personal cloud storage.According to the previous research findings,the research generally starts from several aspects,such as evaluation content,evaluation object,evaluation method and evaluation model.Therefore,based on previous research on personal cloud storage and QoE evaluation,this paper firstly sort out the basic concept,the personal cloud storage function and architecture definition.Then,combine influencing factors of QoE,an evaluation index system was made from two aspects which include cloud technology and cloud storage.After that,QoE method is applied to evaluate the cloud storage.For cloud technology,using the programming interface provided by Winpcap to design and develop measuring tools to test cloud storage performance,then,install the tools to user's terminal device and test the targeted cloud storage.For cloud storage service,based on text mining technology,analyze users'comments on personal cloud storage service index.Using Latent Dirichlet Allocation(LDA)to construct user experience emotional theme mining model in order to obtain users' subjective feelings.Finally,the study result is applied in field for the personal cloud storage evaluation,this paper chooses three popular personal cloud storage platform in China to do evaluation analysis:Baidu SkyDrive,Tencent micro plate,Tianyi cloud disk.Then,the evaluation model was applied on the three chosen cloud storage platform and the results show that the QoE evaluation method on cloud storage is effective and reasonable also executable.Last but not least,it is found that the cloud storage service providers should be user oriented and strengthen the functional services outside the storage under the premise of technical optimization,thus improving the user's quality of experience and satisfaction.
