In recent years,with China's interest rate market basically completed and the rise of Internet banking and traditional banking business is more and more impact.Big data and information era,to our traditional banking business model has become a great challenge;at the same time,from the regulators on leverage ratio,capital adequacy ratio and reserve rate strict regulatory pressure.The traditional way of profit by acquisition of net interest difference will no longer apply,the development of intermediary business was put on the strategic position.However,in recent years the development of intermediate business of China's overall situation is not satisfactory,it is urgent to find a breakthrough;how to promote financial innovation,realize the comprehensive and rapid development of intermediate business has become a problem for China's banking industry imminent.In recent years the domestic banks have realized the strategic investment,by the end of 2015,there are 43 Chinese banks to complete the introduction of overseas strategic investors.Strategic investors signed a cooperation agreement,to assist investment banks to carry out innovative business,hope that through the "investment" to "lead","wisdom".The introduction of foreign strategic investors has been a hot issue in the academic and practical circles.In this paper,the effect of introducing foreign strategic investors is studied from the perspective of intermediary business,try to answer the following question:the introduction of foreign strategic investors,the impact on the intermediate business;the "multiple" and "heavy stock investment"investment is to bring the positive effect of the intermediate business.This paper uses qualitative and quantitative analysis,normative and empirical analysis method of combining.First intermediate business development present situation of domestic and foreign comparative analysis;then introducing strategy investors overseas background and analysis of the status quo;followed by the introduction of strategic investors affect the conduction path of the intermediate business and provide a theoretical basis;finally,this paper selects the panel data of 41 Chinese the Bank of 2000-2015,the effect of introducing foreign strategic investors on the intermediate business,"pluralism" and "heavy stock investment"investment is positive effect is for intermediate business research.From Meyer(1995)proposed the double difference model(DID model),combined with the actual situation of modified.In order to control the sample selection bias,the introduction of dummy variables for whether introducing strategy investors overseas(FSI),promote the credibility of the conclusion.Through empirical analysis,the conclusions are as follows:(1)The introducing strategy investors overseas has a positive effect on the development of intermediary business in our bank.(2)"Multiple" investment on the development of intermediary business in China has a role in promoting.(3)The "stock" the introducing strategy investors overseas to investment bank intermediary business development.According to the conclusion,based on the introducing strategy investors overseas how to better and accelerate the development of intermediary business in China and puts forward relevant policy suggestions.
