In this paper,we take the younger supervisors of Internet company as the research object and used the questionnaires to study the influence that reverse-age superior-subordinate dyad did on the conflict management style of younger supervisors,and then discussed the moderating effects which the two dimensions in organizational culture:openness-to-change and the supportiveness culture did between the age diversity(younger supervisors,age difference between superior and subordinate)and conflict management style.After the research and exploration,it can come to conclusion that(1)Younger supervisors are more tend to use the avoiding style to handle conflicts with older subordinates.(2)The age of younger supervisors and the age difference between superior and subordinate have a significant influence on the choice of conflict management style.Among them,younger supervisors' age has a negative effect on both avoiding and confrontational style of conflict management,while it has a positive effect on collaborating style;the age difference between superior and subordinate has a positive effect on avoiding and confrontational style,while it has a negative effect on collaborating style.(3)The organizational culture has a moderating effect on the influence that the age of younger supervisors as well as the age difference between superior and subordinate did on conflict management style.Among them,the openness-to-change culture has a moderating effect on all three kinds of conflict management styles,while the culture of supportiveness only has a moderating effect on the impact of collaborating style of conflict management.
