Nowadays,the internet has penetrated into all aspects of social production and life,profoundly changing the mode of operation of human society,accelerating the progress of human civilization,and opened a new era.With the Internet as the representative,the penetration blend of information technology and traditional industry becomes the leading power of the reform of traditional industry and continues to give birth to new industries and new formats.Internet insurance is a new insurance pattern which taking the internet as a tool or medium.Insurance company or insurance agency provide service to client for realizing online marketing,online insurance,underwriting,preservation,claims and other insurance business through the internet and achieving electronic payment of insurance costs through third party agencies.And 117 insurance agencies have carried out internet insurance business in 2016 and the written premium is 234 billion 800 million RMB which is 73 times to the Internet premium in 2011.New Internet insurance policies were 6 billion 165 million in 2016,accounted for 64.59%of the total number of new policies.And the total written premium of 56 Property insurance companies is 40 billion 300 million RMB;the total written premium of 61 life insurance companies is 94 billion 500 million RMB.Various Insurances appeared in various aspects of our lives quickly,such as aviation delay insurance,back freight insurance of online shopping,account security insurance,etc.Internet insurance has a rapid development,and it has an increasingly high status in the entire insurance industry.So what factors are driving the rapid development of the Internet insurance industry?The qualitative and quantitative research of the Influence causes of the traditional life insurance demand and non-life insurance demand were systematically carried out by foreign and domestic scholars.Most of the studies were limited in qualitative analysis.In this paper,qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis are used to systematically analyze the factors affecting the internet insurance demand.First of all,it starts at the development status of Internet insurance in China,and presents the relation and differences between premium income and model of internet insurance and the traditional insurance and the question existing in both models.Then it has the qualitative analysis of the general and specific factors influencing the internet insurance demand.At last,it gets the impact of various factors on Chinese internet insurance demand with the demand theory of Insurance Economics,the econometric analysis method and the empirical analysis on the influencing factors of cross sectional data in 2014 and 2015 on internet insurance demand,and it puts forward some relevant policies and suggestions on the development of Chinese internet insurance according to the analytic result.
