Research On RMB ODI And China’s Comparative Advantage Dynamic Upgrading

With the deepening of global economic integration,international trade in the world economy within the occupied position is increasingly important.Since the participation of international trade,China has been participating in the international division of labor with the initial traditional comparative advantage.In the past year,"manufacturing big country" has a place in the international market.The abundant labor resources and low labor cost make our country occupy a certain international market share with the primary stage of the extensive labor-intensive industries,into a "low-cost lock" of the "comparative advantage trap." To carry out foreign direct investment to get the technology spillover learning from investment,master the core technical aspects,optimize the industrial structure adjustment,break the "comparative advantage trap" to promote the comparative advantage of dynamic upgrade.In this paper,the impact of RMB foreign direct investment on industrial restructuring is the main line of research,based on the linkage of industrial structure optimization and dynamic upgrading of comparative advantage.First of all,sort out the relevant content of ODI and comparative advantage optimization,through access to a large number of existing literature,through the two related theoretical basis for finishing analysis.Secondly,through the qualitative analysis to research the development status of the two,analyze the interaction mechanism between the ODI and the comparative advantage of China,and confirm the influencing factors and ways.There are three factors: resource supply factor,market demand factor and other factors.Its transmission pathways include four aspects: resource-acquired ODI,market access ODI,technology access ODI,and capital-acquired ODI.The empirical basis of this paper is established,and the corresponding empirical variables are selected.In the aspect of quantitative analysis,this paper analyzes the relationship between ODI and the hierarchical index of industrial structure.Empirical analysis shows that under long-term conditions,the RMB ODI is the Granger cause of industrial structure adjustment,and has the positive impact on the industrial structure.Its transmission pathways mainly rely on outward direct investment promoting the improvement of core technical conditions,the expansion of external market capacity,resource allocation and rational optimization,in order to promote the optimization and upgrading of industrial structure,so as to achieve the ultimate goal of optimizing the comparative advantages of upgrading.At the same time,based on the VAR model to determine the stability of the variables,using impulse response regression analysis to determine the short-term relationship between the ODI and industrial structure height level.Finally,by comparing the relevant economic background of China and Japan,combined with the experience of Japan to promote the dyna mic upgrading of comparative advantage,from the qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis of two aspects make accordingly policy advice of China’s RMB ODI to promote the comparative advantage of dynamic upgrade.
