Entering the 21st century, the situation that China 's economic growth rapidly and urban-rural uncoordinated development simultaneously exist attract a lot of attention of academia and politics.Urban-rural uncoordinated development limits the development of rural economy, the backwardness of agriculture and countryside also restricts the long-term development of industry, cities and the whole national economy. In this context, while ensuring the healthy and stable of economic growth, adjusting the urban-rural relationship and breaking urban-rural unbalance to arrow urban-rural disparity is China's main development melody in the current and future. However, how big is the gap of urban-rural development? Whether the construction of the coordinated development of urban and rural areas is more conducive to sustained economic growth? Are regional differences determine the degree of urban-rural coordination and its economic effects are different? At present, the overall of economic development level and urban-rural development level in Anhui Province is far lower than the developed regions, also the gap between the urban-rural areas and the regions continued to expand.Based on the above considerations, this paper takes Anhui Province as an example to measure the comprehensive development level of urban and rural areas and the urban-rural coordinated development level,on the basis of that, analysis contrastively their economic growth effect, which to find the urban-rural development path that suitable for Anhui. To accurately distinguish the high balanced development level and the low balanced development level of in urban and rural areas, this paper from the perspective of system science, constructs a comprehensive index system of urban-rural coordinated development based on urban-rural sub-systems,and quantitative analyzes the urban and rural comprehensive development level and the urban-rural coordinated development in Anhui Province from time and space dimensions. The results show that:the disparity of comprehensive development level within the urban agglomeration and the rural cluster is widening gradually, and the performance of the urban agglomeration is particularly obvious; The urban-rural comprehensive development level varies greatly, some area are in a high level, some area are in a low level, and even some area develop extremely between urban and rural; The urban-rural coordinated development overall level is not high and its spatial difference is significant, but the overall trend tends to be gradient increasing; The index of urban-rural coordinated development is on the rise, and the order from high to low is ecological construction, population structure, resident's life, economic development and social service.According to the previous study, this paper constructs the economic growth model which as the comprehensive development level, the rural comprehensivedevelopment level and the urban-rural coordinated development level with explanatory variables, and use the static panel regression, dynamic panel regression and panel threshold regression model to empirical analysis. The results show that the urban comprehensive development level, the rural comprehensive development level and the urban-rural coordinated development level have a significant positive impact on economic growth, but the economic growth effect of urban-rural coordinated development is significantly greater than the others; The effect of urban-rural coordinated development level on economic growth is nonlinear and double-threshold,which indicates that the middle level of coordinated development level is higher than the low coordinated development level and high coordinated development level to improve economic growth. Therefore, the conclusion of this paper provides a strong theoretical support for the implementation of the urban-rural coordinated development strategy,at the same time,it is suggested to take the economic development and social service as the focus and adopt the differential policy classification to promote the urban-rural coordinated development.
