Expanding consumption of rural residents is not only to improve the livelihood of the people under the background of improving rural people's livelihood,it is also an urgent requirement for China to expand domestic demand,build a well-off society in an all-round way and build a new socialist countryside.For a long time,China has been the implementation of urban and rural division of the two yuan system,and it is light rural,heavy city,light consumption,heavy accumulation,light life,heavy construction,resulting in insufficient consumption of rural residents in China,consumption gap between urban and rural residents.In recent years,with the party and the government to improve the livelihood of the people in rural areas,although the consumption of rural residents has improved,however,the consumption of rural residents is still very serious,and the consumption gap between urban and rural residents is still among the best in the world.How to expand the consumption of rural residents,this is the most urgent task facing China,it also an important problem to be solved by theory.In this paper,improve the livelihood of the people under the background of expanding rural consumption path and policy for the study,by the combination of the theoretical and empirical,the qualitative and quantitative study methods,starting by the analysis of the current situation of rural residents' consumption under the background of improving people's livelihood,the factors that restrict the consumption of rural residents in China are further discussed and verified.And on this basis,explore the path and policies to expand the consumption of rural residents in the context of improving people's livelihood.The innovation of this paper is mainly reflected in:(1)construct the framework of this topic.Due to the academic circles to improve the livelihood of the people under the background of expanding the consumption of rural residents in China's path and policy has not yet been a comprehensive theoretical analysis,there are different views on how to expand the consumption of rural residents in the new situation.Therefore,a comprehensive and systematic analysis of the path and policies to improve the consumption of rural residents under the background of improving people's livelihood,it can make up for the vacancy of system research in this field.(2)explore the path and policy of expanding rural residents' consumption under the background of improving people's livelihood,to find a new breakthrough for the expansion of rural consumption in China,this new breakthrough is to seize the historic opportunity to improve people's livelihood,through some effective measures to improve people's livelihood in rural areas to expand rural consumption.
